I get the impression that the usual OPL226 agreement extension might not arrive, but instead they are holding out for license extension which may well be pretty close following recent overhaul. Let's hope so!
Can anyone confirm that FCA have a final submission from COPL, including financials? I have my doubts that they do.

Thanks panamabob. I very rarely post but I do try and read this bb every day. I've only been invested here for just short of a couple of years. This is the first time I've felt confident about this investment though - before Atomic we were pinning our hopes on an African country doing things quickly, which rarely happens. COPL will soon be entering a new chapter with a rebranding almost inevitable with Atomic work and other possible projects (which I don't know about by the way but I always thought the rushed raise a few months ago was for something extra). I'm sure a lot of it was also used to pay for Atomic wages etc too though to get the ball rolling.

I don't expect submission for relisting to be made for a few days just yet, however I also understand that things are progressing well and it's just awaiting audit completion prior to applying for the relist. It's times like this when I'm pleased were aren't trading as traders would pounded on lack of news.

It wouldn't surprise me if employees of Atomic are buying decent amounts before completion. With Arthur already stating the completion date in recent RNS', they wouldn't be classed as insider trades, would they?

Hope so. Can anyone explain why they'd exit at this point in time? I know they are here to make small % gains but surely they'd expect a much larger one if they hold. At least there is equally massive appetite to buy the stock.

Let's hope these aren't shares from a new placing at 0.35p - Art couldn't do another could he? Honestly, I think not but it makes you wonder why it is static currently. I'm generally bullish and was expecting 0.7p on announcement of Atomic but I keep asking myself if tomorrow it is expected to be a much higher share price, why isn't the price rising much? Let's see what happens.

If the 300 million trade is a new buyer then we won't see a tr-1 with it being less than 3%. I get that impression from my communications that this is a new investor. Matters not though as it is a confident trade. IMO

I agree croper. In fact I'd like a few days until it's completed to allow a good head of steam to mid .4s. the higher the base price the better. However, too many days then nervousness and selling may set in.

Sol663 ”Name me a share that has not dropped to the near placing price, no matter what is being produced.” I think you'll find today's price is pretty close to the placing price and may briefly drop lower on open tomorrow but then bye-bye .32, never to be seen again. If these shares hit the market in 12months are you expecting it to drop to .32? I think we'll reach 0.7p on deal completion before heavy profit taking hits. I'd be tempted even though my original target prior to Atomic discussions was 1p. However id certainly but back in on a large dip.

Good post cdnoilsupporter - you talk sense. I'm also a fan of cawcaw's posts, even recent ones. Although we're weren't invited to the placings, that is almost irrelevant as inevitably the price heads pretty darn close to them anyway, giving us a chance to buy at similar levels.
For what it's worth, I get a feeling that once Atomic is ours we will climb to 0.7p before a steady drop back to settle in the 0.5p's. It just didn't feel like there is enough enthusiasm to go higher at this stage as plenty of holders will be wary of another nasty surprise from the team. I still have a hunch that the recent raise was for another asset.

There's nothing like a bit of excitement with your investments, is there! I think it's almost a given that the bookbuild will complete but what will be the price - my wild guess is 0.32p, but they could have set a min. price.
Anyway, the most important question is what's it going to be used for. My next wild guess is an acquisition in Western Africa. However, I wouldn't anticipate a huge rush for such an acquisition. With the price of oil heading north time is of the essence for any acquisition that's for sure.

I don't believe it will be thrown out due to the 6months window breach alone (business contracts have been thrown out of the window citing force majure because of covid).
We just need to hope (and expect) that government and BPC did everything by the books. My trust is with them that they did. One thing for sure, if the opposition action is quashed in before 29th Dec, this share price will rocket quicker than any other til spud so the ride should be fun.

Although the 6months rule isn't mentioned in that particular article, it is in another on the and site. However, they claim that due to Covid and associated restrictions they couldn't act sooner, which has some weight to it in this strange year whether we agree with it or not unfortunately.

For us holders, our heads are telling us that the opposition shouldn't get far with their agenda, but to be honest I'm starting to wonder, due to the attention now being put on us, that the court may play it safe and allow a stay if proceedings/ review. Gut feeling only but I've had plenty of bad luck with my investments and less confident of drilling than I thought I would be. However, I remain a holder and cross my fingers!

Arthur's presence at the meeting is not required according to COPL PR team. I asked them that same question.

Don't forget guys, Arthur doesn't have to be at this meeting(s) - I've had that confirmed today. One Nigeria open up for travel more then Essar and Shorecan can get on with it. Gives Art more time to prepare for the AGM.
