Article on it here. Who knows if this is the reason Jim left but it would make sense. Note how AZ brought it up in the interview with a wry smile when saying it won’t impact SYME.

I think it’s fair enough to see these statements as a silver lining on what is undoubtedly bad news.
Jim was under no obligation to make any statement at all; in fact people usually don’t if they’re leaving on bad terms so there is a crumb of comfort to be taken from that.
I know a lot of you justify your rubbing of salt into the wounds as trying to protect people from themselves (and/or rampers) but I do get the sense that the majority of you take great pleasure in it.
Undoubtedly, bad news this morning. I think a more comprehensive explanation via a media interview would be most welcome.
No one is disagreeing with you about the deadlines being missed Lex. It’s not binary though, is it? You can be frustrated with the missed deadlines but also encouraged by the calibre of the people who have recently joined the company.
What do you think of our chairman Lex? Do you think he has a high calibre CV? If so, do you think he will have joined a company that he believes to be a dud?
Well said Johnski. The trouble is you’re not corresponding with a real person here. Lex (and all his other aliases) is essentially a robot that is programmed to spin everything negatively.
Here is the truth, it’s not black or white. The vast majority of people invested in SYME are extremely disappointed with the sp and the missed deadlines. Most people retain optimism based on the potential of the product and, importantly, the calibre of the new people joining SYME. There is still risk here though, we need concrete news confirming IM and funders. When that happens there will be a huge collective sigh of relief and a great deal of excitement for the future. However, whilst we continue to wait for this, uncertainty will remain.
But Lex, you have never answered that question. Please don’t be disingenuous. You have said why you’re interested in SYME (fascinating insight into human behaviour or something like that) but never explained why it’s the only share that you post about. You repeatedly dodge it like you have done just now.
It’s a very simple question - I can’t understand why you find it so difficult to answer. I can rephrase if you like:
You have produced more than 1000 posts about SYME but not one single post about any other share, why is that?
I didn’t remove your thread Lex. Why would I? I was trying to reply to you.
Anyway, you’ve dodged the question again. You’re ignoring the nuance of why do you ONLY post on SYME not why do you post on SYME. Forget it, I didn’t expect you would reply with a straight answer.
I’m not a ramper by the way, I’m thoroughly cheesed off with the delays and think that AZ’s over promising has really damaged the sp. However, I do feel positively about the future once we have IM’d but I would do right? I’m a holder. Otherwise I’d sell and not be a holder (and not frequent this BB anymore!).
Lex, your thread was removed.
You say you’ve answered that question but actually you’ve always dodged it and have again just now. You say it’s fascinating but never answer why it’s the only share you post about. Can you explain this please?
The reason I ask is it seems improbable that a person who spends so much time researching and discussing a share they’re not invested in would only want to discuss that one share. I’d have thought someone with so much knowledge about investing would be talking about lots of shares. I’d have also thought that the ones they found the most interesting would be those they actually owned and had a vested interest in.
It’s why your 1000+ posts about SYME don’t add up. I don’t know your exact motivations but like investor genuine on Twitter and all the other similar aliases on here, I believe you have deliberately targeted this share to create negative sentiment and help drive down the sp (which it’s doing a pretty good job of on its own!) Now, if you were to tell me that was your reason for ONLY posting about SYME and no other share then that would make complete sense.
