Jayfax - the "thing" which stopped a finance minister being elected was the president's lug ole being twisted by EU/German interference - plain and simple. The electorate won't take kindly to that if another election comes about, especially with the ill thought out comments directed towards the Italians. The country is financially fkced and everyone knows it, and needs to unshackled it's from the Euro prison. Bailouts ain't the answer. Either way, it won't end well for the EU or Italy. Who's next? - what this space.

Snige - expansion of the money supply is inflation especially if it's not linked to growth expansion. It will filter down into the CPI which is how the govs now prefer to measure it - it was changed to suit .govs agenda worldwide - again expand your thinking.
