In all my six years of holding this stock, I don't think I have ever had a day where the messages posted have been so meaningful and so relevant to the company's futures. It's a thanks from me too Nthoftheriver, I did anticipate an interview following those excellent 1Q results. Today's messages made such pleasant reading, not the usual "£1 next week" or "10 bagger in the offing" that is seen on so many other boards. It can be clearly seen that the majority of todays posters are, like myself, long term holders who have a special love for this company and what they are attempting to do for Brazil. I was particularly pleased to hear Brian mention that they are constantly monitoring the current fertiliser prices and adjusting accordingly in a similar manner (I wonder if he's been using chique's spreadsheet !) The video completes a brilliant week to my mind, have a great weekend guys.
I would imagine Brian will be doing a few interviews over the next couple of weeks in light of todays figures. Clearly, like the 4Q figures, a large part of those orders will be forward orders. It cannot hide the fact, however, that 150kt is now an obsolete figure and 200~230kt should be achievable if the current logistics allow it. The ongoing peace talks will not mean fertiliser exports resuming the following day,and as many have said here today Brazil must be wary of ever being put in this position again. It pains me to say it, but Mr Heyhoe's famous quote has actually come to fruition.
Totally agree, sellers were mainly short term traders who switched to POLY/POG Let's see where 1Q figures and trading statement/production increase takes us. Then they'll be back................and yes they will depart again after a few days !
No one 's laughing at you Mr P. Myself and several others have bought in the 20's prior to your purchase. Good to see you will soon be in profit on these, remember a loss is never a loss until you sell. As for averaging down, it's great when it comes off, but it was scary at 1.9p and we must have been close to another raising at that point. I'm laughing at all the companies who could have had us for £4 million - imagine what they must be thinking now! Great to see us with a market cap beginning with 3 again and I have no doubt soon that will become a 5 and finally at some point next year we will have a triple digit market cap. Great day for POLY and POG shareholders today (sadly, I don't hold) but happy for steady 5~10% gains from HMI right now.
You can understand why Brian gets frustrated in interviews when the company's share price is brought up. Just looked at Verde's 2021 results released yesterday which show sales of 400kt and net profit of approximately £2.5 giving a current p/e of about 110 ish as their current market cap today was £270 m. Rose tinted spectacles aside, if we produce half that figure this year we really should be seeing a market cap of £100 m by year end, roughly 50p a share. Still hoping to nick a few more before 1Q figures are announced. I'm guessing they are holding back the "production increase" until they release the 1Q figures. Either way, looking forward to the end of the month.
I would hate to be taken out for, say £50 m (26p/share) given the exponential growth in future sales. You only have to look at Verde's sales figures (~350kt last year and potentially 700kt this year) to see we would be being robbed blind. Fortunately, Brian would not entertain a sale price involving less than 3 digits. Given the current geopolitical climate, I would also expect him to be focusing on expansion rather than issuing dividends. Personally hoping the 1Q figures won't be released until the new tax year as hoping to move a few of my holding to the 22-23 ISA, but think they will be released on 31st March. Two weeks to wait guys and predicting the 1Q sales could be half of last years total which would be quite a statement for the market, 50kt would be awesome !
...in this morning's RNS
" In calculating the 2022 target of 150,000 tonnes, Harvest assumed it would sell 2,574 tonnes during January and February. The total sales of 30,161 is substantially more than initially forecast (over a 1,070% increase)"
So that suggests they were calculating 147.5kt for the remaining 10 months. Suddenly,we're ahead of the curve, like way ahead! Add the 30kt to the remaining 10 months total and we are now looking at 177.5kt. Sadly, for the Ukranian people, the current ban on fertiliser imports can only add to that figure and 200kt could be a realistic figure this year. How they manage this with storage expansion will be interesting. Good times ahead guys !
I am glad to see you have recovered your losses bopd, despite your constant negative posts. True to your word, you have sold and it is pleasing to see you making more profits with your new investment. Genuinely wishing you best of luck for the future, I've read some horrible posts this week on the Eurasia thread with holders losing their entire life savings. Take care.
The only criteria we are likely to meet in the immediate future swingy is nano stocks which require a market cap of $50 m Micro cap stocks require a market cap of $250 m which is well beyond our scope for the next two years.
Trading in Verde's shares was halted on the Canadian stock exchange before they opened chique. The spread was actually Can $ 5.20 to buy and $0.06 to sell ! It spooked a lot of their shareholders but later in the day it was announced that they had been granted a mining licence for production of 2.5 million more tons per year. Obviously a huge announcement for them and they are now predicting 700kt for 2022 and 1400kt for 2023. Happy with HMI's progress, however. I feel it would take a really bad set of results to get this below 5 again.
Smalleyus, you are either ypymytyc or,even worse the kretin that is kreature. You ruined the advfn thread which is why I very rarely post there now and now you seem intent on ruining this thread as there was only you two left over there and no one wanted to talk to pinky and perky. It clearly worked, as you now feel the need to ruin this thread with your constant (brazilian web sites)crap. I am all for reasoned debate but there is clearly no point in wasting oxygen talking to you two. Can I please urge other posters to filter this moron to avoid clogging up a decent thread. The clown will still be posting here when we are in double figures about his fictitious placing.
