@ jj - I take full responsibility with the outcome of my investment, of course nobody coerced me into my trade but why wouldn’t one use the word corruption in this case? The BoD have continually suggested that things were on the up, both in terms of their language, phrasing of RNS’ and in stating that ‘multiple bids’ were on the table for the airline. None of that information has since been disclosed and we have since been hit with the sledgehammer news last Friday that the shares are most likely going to be diluted to such an extent that they will trade down to nothing! If that isn’t professional deceit then I don’t know what is.
Heardy hit the nail on the head - how is anyone supposed to make an informed investment decision based on fundamentals when the Board have been talking out of their rear end for the past 6 months.

Too many people in that same boat Amers, corruption at it finest. I too was badly stung, averaged 18p but managed to sell out at 9p first thing last Friday, losing 10k in the process. It sure does suck but I really can’t see this turning positive given the comments from the CEO and CFO. In the understated words of PF, it’s a ‘bitter pill to swallow’.

Market sentiment won’t determine the share price here, the billions of additional shares will, and it won’t be pretty.

Agreed @ TimeToBuy, very undervalued considering the positive report today and the share price collapse over the last few months. Onwards and upwards from here - I’m predicting 200p (easily achievable) in the next 3 months.

Invesco continuing to dump stock, down to just over 8% holding now. The rise is being manipulated so they can get out IMO, follow their lead.

I don’t think this is reversing at all, just a dead cat bounce. Their own acting CFO explicitly said I’m their shocking media video that the shares are most likely going to be traded down to nothing. It’s a complete sham.

Invesco must be banging their head against the wall with this rise today, although I suspect it will be short lived.

We didn’t take it lying down, we took it bent over (and hard).

Worst trade of my life, gutted is an understatement. Although humble enough to salute those that made money on the way down. All the best to those who remain.

@kris. Very reasoned post and I do hope you’re right about your option 2. Regardless what it is being used for, even considering your option 2, I would like to think that they would have agreed terms by now given that it has been so long since the placing and something that would have been deliberated long before the placing of indeed it is to acquire a new asset.

@Blade. Granted, the cash burn I project is not confirmed, only my opinion. But what is the issue regarding the placing? It is fact that we have had no update from the board as to what the cash has been used for, and that I’m my opinion is not good enough.
As for Mayfords comments, shame he/she isn’t mature enough to debate like an adult. Make no mistake, I like many am a long term holder of this stock and currently deep underwater due to the incompetence of the board. I’d like nothing more than for them to turn things round here (and I’m sure they will, hence why I’m still invested) but the lack of communication and snails pace progress (if you can call it that) is extremely frustrating and requires addressing.

@Blade. Why are they going to tell us shareholders what they spent/raised £3.5 million for? Is that a serious comment?? They have diluted the share price by doing so, so it’s only right that they inform the people who are paying their wage what that money is intended for. How have they ‘obviously’ not spent it? Why did they offer the placing at such a low level if they didn’t require the cash straight away, it doesn’t make sense. I’d say 20% of that cash is already gone on wages alone. If SS doesn’t pull his finger out and start delivering then it won’t be long before he comes knocking for more!

Jet2 aren’t in the same financial position as TCG so I don’t get the comparison. If I were booking a package holiday I’d be more confident with Jet2 than TCG given all the negative media speculation about their poor financial position. I realise they’re ATOL protected but I don’t believe that gives the public 100% confidence when it’s their hard earned on the line. It’s all about perception and I’m afraid at this particular moment in time it isn’t great.

Interesting article on the BBC about Virgin/Richard Branson. He seems very spooked by the whole Brexit fiasco and the potential impact it would have on the whole Virgin portfolio - gives the impression that a bid for the airline may not come from them. Time will tell.

Just sold out at a massive loss. It was a tough decision but I cannot bare to see my investment down day after day. All the best to the holders, I really hope it works out.

Wtf are the board doing, I realise that a deal may not be done yet but surely to hell they could put out an RNS to reassure investors and stabilise the SP. It’s ridiculous.

Regardless of the outcome we are overdue an update, the board need to pull their finger out and issue an rns

@Alamo, I would beg to differ that it’s ‘plainly obvious’ that a potential deal (which is a dead cert in my view) otherwise why aren’t we in single figures already? TCG have multiple bids in the table (fact) and it’s now just a waiting game until the news is released. The only reason the sp is slightly down is so the that that MMs and shorters can minimise their wounds when this double bags.
