The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Isn’t a lock in period normally just for insiders? I’ve been in a couple of IPOs recently and the lock in period was only for institutions and I’ve managed to sell shares inside the lock in period.
This link explains the lock in period

The RNS also states “ The Company has now received initial offers from a number of parties...”
It does not say “in talks with” or “been approached by”. It states they have received initial offers. I guess talks must have been going on behind the scenes for a while. Maybe we will hear about some of these offers soon.

Not sure if it is live but it’s better than lse.

I agree. I find it odd that people invest in a vaccine testing company and dump the shares when a vaccine moves a bit closer to being released. Plus, this may be naive but if there is less COVID “out in the wild” surely the only place to get accurate data for new and improved vaccines will be in a lab.
This article is referenced in lots of motoring news reports now. It is great publicity for super cruise and DMS in general. This if from the car and driver news report of the same article...
“Autopilot a “distant second” to GM’s Super Cruise feature, largely because Super Cruise is better at monitoring the driver’s attention to make sure it is still focused on the road even when the car’s systems are doing most of the driving”
Tesla fans are always banging on about how good their self driving cars are and with reports in the media recently about Tesla’s new FSD (full self drive) capabilities I thought I’d look to see what this actually is. I’ve copied the following from the Tesla support web page. Doesn’t really seem like full self driving to me but maybe it’s better than described. Makes reference to driver supervision a couple of times. How are they guarantee that?!
From Tesla web site...
Autopilot and Full Self-Driving Capability Features
Autopilot is a suite of driver assistance features that can be purchased before you buy your car or after it’s been delivered, and brings new functionality to your Tesla that makes driving safer and less stressful. Available packages include:
Autopilot
Traffic-Aware Cruise Control: Matches the speed of your car to that of the surrounding traffic
Autosteer: Assists in steering within a clearly marked lane, and uses traffic-aware cruise control
Full Self-Driving Capability
Navigate on Autopilot (Beta): Actively guides your car from a highway’s on-ramp to off-ramp, including suggesting lane changes, navigating interchanges, automatically engaging the turn signal and taking the correct exit
Auto Lane Change: Assists in moving to an adjacent lane on the highway when Autosteer is engaged
Autopark: Helps automatically parallel or perpendicular park your car, with a single touch
Summon: Moves your car in and out of a tight space using the mobile app or key
Smart Summon: Your car will navigate more complex environments and parking spaces, maneuvering around objects as necessary to come find you in a parking lot.
Traffic and Stop Sign Control (Beta): Identifies stop signs and traffic lights and automatically slows your car to a stop on approach, with your active supervision
Upcoming:
Autosteer on city streets
The currently enabled features require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous. The activation and use of these features are dependent on achieving reliability far in excess of human drivers as demonstrated by billions of miles of experience, as well as regulatory approval, which may take longer in some jurisdictions.
FYI, the links to the ft article go to the ft paywall for me. If you are having the same issue you can google “ uk challenge studies” and it will be the second article down.
Doing it this way doesn’t seem to be blocked by the paywall for some reason.

“ the ‘Interior Assist’ function of the new MBUX infotainment system, which uses cameras pointed at the car’s occupants to effectively guess what it is you want to do, then do it for you. Look over your shoulder and it’ll automatically open the rear sunblind, for example.”
Maybe things like this are the Low-friction integration pathways for pillar 2.
I scrolled back a bit and couldn’t see this...
Super cruise in 7 models.

A google search tells me the Sierra and Silverado sold about 808,000 units (combined) in 2019.
Maybe nothing new for regulars here but a nice article on the rollout and upgrades to super cruise...
