I messaged the company again yesterday and still had no response.
It is interesting to compare the level of contentment with the company’s responses from those included (for whatever reason) in the company loop, with those of who are deemed unworthy and have never received a single response. It is no surprise that those who have had direct contact with a named person at the company are able to sleep easier at night under the present arrangements.
I am mightily grateful for the work of Looed and others, but it doesn’t make up for the lack of direct information from the company. Looed has just pointed us to communication from FRC from over a year ago. Maybe the company need therefore to issue another AP communique, to put the minds of us “unworthies” at rest for a little bit longer. The wait would be more bearable if they were to do so.

I’m afraid that I agree with others when they say that the company really has a duty to talk with its shareholders. Basic information only - what is said is irrelevant to a large extent.
Something perhaps on the lines of “continuing to deal with all court cases, and we will be restricted by what we can say until then, but rest assured that the company is still viable and operating in Georgia”. Is that too much to ask? Is it so tricky for the company to reassure its shareholders that they still have hope?

HL still says they are with nothing Erazzel, but I’ll keep checking now!

I’m certainly not having goes at you, just frustrated at the company. You’ve been a life saver to say the least and without you and the others I’d know nothing. It’s just that money is tight all round and I need to know if there’s anything coming my way via this share.

As tsbs1 said, with the war continuing, FRR can’t at the moment confirm/announce that they sit on huge gas reserves. But they could and should be able to confirm to its shareholders where they are regarding the PSA, what they are presently producing, how many employees they have etc, and what they are doing in the short term to bring value back to this share. That’s the least they should be doing right now. All the rumours, court cases, emails to selected shareholders mean nothing if they can’t show us all by official means how we are getting out of this mess. Some of us are getting on a bit and need this sorting out in the very near future.

It is helpful as you say because it shows we are still fighting. From memory SN had the option to pay in shares or money, and he doesn’t seem wish to pay with either form of payment. It does demonstrate that their is value in our shares - we just need to learn how much and when.

And yes, I am looking forward to Looed’s and others explanations and news, and hoping the company is finally able to share information with its shareholders. GLA

I’d like to think that everyone here is so quiet because a deal is about to break, that they’ve all signed NDAs and they’ve all had to promise to keep schtum. But in all honesty we’ve been here before and I think we’ll still be here in a year’s time. I hope I’m wrong but my confidence in a positive (and quick) result is not high at the moment.
We’ve not heard much news from our super-sleuths for a while. This whole saga has been very difficult indeed.

But we all know that the rig will be moving as soon as they get some semi-decent weather!

Morning Zeron. As lovely as a 7am RNS would be, I’m not holding out too much hope. It was just me wondering how this might end, if by some miracle we ever proved to be successful. I’ll keep on dreaming.

So I have been trying to consider in what form we might eventually learn that we have been successful and have won the battle to restore some value to our shares. What got me thinking was this weekend’s latest court docs from the ever helpful Looed and Earsbern. Could the wrapping up of a court case etc simply pave the way for a RNS from the company. Will we hear from one of the Georgian websites, such as interpressnews first? Or will it come from the company via its presently rather slimmed down version of a website? My personal favourite would be via an RNS or similar from another company (Exxon or BP spring to mind) telling their shareholders that they have had a bid accepted for a massive oil and gas field in a little known, Black Sea country called Georgia :)

After looking at this yesterday, it seems to me that we are trying to force Mourant into settling their case asap, since the alternative could be catastrophic for their firm if we actually won this case. All part then of our attempts to tidy things up before the big reveal. I think we are a bit closer to the end.
Quite how they can calculated $280000000 is another matter….
