Come on now Gideons! You know very well you’re not giving the true story here.

The last time Brockham was producing it dribbled 3/4 barrels a day….. They can turn that back on but it won’t be commercial. That’s why they have the Planning application in for the new side track that should be heard by WSCC planning committee later this month.
The trouble they have is that the EA have refused permission for them to inject water from elsewhere, including Lidsey (very bad news as disposal costs of £49 a barrel make that site uncommercial as well) as well as the double whammy of not being able to raise the reservoir pressure to increase production.
So to drill a sidetrack if they get the permission (?) will be over a million possibly 2 million plus and they can only inject the water they take out. That’s not going to help though is it!
Then you have to now apply for an Water injection well at Lidsey to dispose of the water…... plus the “new exciting” sidetrack their (which it appears will finish in another licence area) another £3 million probably?

But you know all this Gideons don’t you! Please just be honest with people.

We then have a list of approved equipment.

What we have now is a fresh document dated this month from Aecom saying

“ new elements subject to a separate approval application”

The new elements are newly highlighted in yellow andinclude the condensate and water storage area, condensate stabilisation tower, the group flare package, several control rooms, several storage tanks, the air coolers, control rooms and The skips and fire water tanks.

Do you think they have changed the plans and submitted them and hope the officer isn’t going to notice?…. She has obviously been talking to them and requested it!

Come on Yanis that’s just ridiculous. The new Elements are highlighted in yellow. They are not on the original approved application ( they were always going to be needed of course)

How can they possibly have been previously approved when they weren’t on the original PL/0052/20 plan. As I say this application is also a Prior application.

Separate Application!!

Erm no Gideon! This application is to reconfigure part of the approved layout. The new information clearly says “new elements subject to a separate Prior Approval application. The Original PP granted was actually a prior Approval Application (pl/0052/20) obviously didn’t show the new kit. It would seem obvious that they now require another separate application as stated for the new kit as it’s quite obvious that it’s doubled or tripled in size and wasn’t included in the original.
The good news is the previous application only took around 6 weeks to approve. However not sure it will be so straightforward this time with the revised scale!

Go to the application. Then go to associated documents, then to RIVISED production stage plan. It’s dated this month.

Anyway that’s 9 bits of kit they list as not being listed in the “ reconfigure” The site that they now need to apply to the council for prior approval! I can’t see an application on the council’s web site yet!

Because that’s what’s on the revised plans submitted to the inspector with this months date!

Up until the beginning of this week the Agdon permissions were also showing as delegated…..as was the Angus sidetrack up until someone at the county Council decided they all needed to go to committee. With the new information regarding the sound issues and the EA recommendation this to could be sent to committee to assign the DB limit….of course it may not but it’s worth consideration non the less.

Your statement about the planning must be done by the 17th is not accurate. The other Aecom applications for Egdon Resources PL/0167/21 submitted 2 weeks before the Angus one have only now been sent to the planning committee even at this late stage. The Pl/0176/21 is still saying delegated at this stage but it’s a couple of weeks behind in timescale!

If they just SEL AEWB 3 they will be left with nothing!
If shareholders are Happy to pay for the management to go and chase geothermal rainbows all well and good but anyone who has spent more than 10 mins on Google as GL would say knows the £8 million Price tag mentioned is about as accurate as the £2.5 we were all assured Saltfleetby was going to cost…..even up to the very point it turned into £12.5 million………what is it now going to be around £15 million is it?

AEWB no.3 own all the “assets” though! The other companies in the group are listed as investment companies aren’t they?

And of course the Fact that they must still drill a successful sidetrack to get to those figures. The last 9 attempts failed!

Yes but does that £ £24 million include the £13.4 million loans plus the Eyewatering interest, and the £16/18 million tax shield that won’t be available to anyone else without taking the whole company lock stock and barrel? Many would look on the rest of the portfolio as de-comm costs or that they all require millions each spending on a long odds gamble.
