The storage angle was looked into by Wingas /the Russian federation. Saltfleetby was the second choice by the way and the costs involved were well beyond anything Angus could cope with£200 Million just for the pipeline back then.

The Gov seems to have gone down a different route with LNG and by the time this was built Gas will be being back to sensible prices and gas boilers illegal to install.

Your proof RNS is nothing of the sort. They are allowed to work on Saturday morning which is obviously the weekend. As for your health and safety point. The gas that sits waiting to power my job doesn’t require a gas safe engineer to be sat next to it at all times!!
Try reading the Planning permission they have in place freely available on the Lincolnshire CC website.

It’s indeed possible that the 2 wells will produce more than the kit can handle but only because they have only half of the compressor package on site. The2nd compressor package hasn’t been delivered yet.
Absolutely no guarantee that they will produce more than the 5mmscf that the single compressor can produce anyway. As you say the previous production figures are available from the NSTA website (formally the OGA) and Angus investor presentations available on the website,and they don’t look like your not drilling the sidetrack theory holds up!

I have read the permissions in place for both construction and when operational.
This is still classed as the construction stage.
Once the EA, HSE, national Grid, the Council and the NSTA sign off it can the operate 24/7.

It’s not a live gas plant. It’s still under construction and the planning permission in place does not allow for 24hr working at this point.
They are allowed to work 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday,Saturday morning until 1pm And no working on Sundays or bank holidays.

Steve. The train is 2 years late !! As for the supper saver tickets….. they cost £1. That’s what Angus paid to their partners. So it’s gone from £1 and given £2.5 million to actually costing more like £25 million and until that sidetrack is successfully drilled all the computers money goes straight to Mercuria. They could very well end up not producing enough to even pay the £22 million is it that they owe at present!!

Once that’s finally fixed it’s on a very slow branch line losing money until it’s second compressor arrives and the boiler (sidetrack) is successfully drilled. just a reminder that the last 9 attempts failed. If the 10th doesn’t work Angus will likely have the franchise pulled by Mercuria!!
