Both by whoever is managing the Scancell account and by others name checking (hashtagging) Scancell in terms of the Covid19 project. Also about 20 new followers over the weekend. Plus not to mention numerous mentions in media, The Times being the biggie IMO. I don't think Scancell have ever had this much expose/news/media coverage? Or so quickly?

Also, somewhat unrelated, C7 you mentioned that the MM's were more than happy to take the shares on wed and/or thurs? Show's that it pays to watch what the MM's are doing!

I'm guessing they would need to apply for the money for the research? But which ever institution agrees im sure will throw money at whoever has viable potentail solutions? It feels like money for these Covid19 vaccines is (almosty) no object, for either the UK government and even more so with Macron backed initiative?

A few doom-mongers popping in with critical posts about Scancell getting in the Covid vaccine field. Wildforce, your 16:39 response was spot on IMO.

And whilst admittedly I have not looked in to the approaches taken by the numerous other vaccine developers, this...taken from somewhat ironically from that bbc east midlands post on their timeline feed sums it up well:

"...It is hoped the vaccine, created with processes already used in the development of anti-cancer drugs, will give a more potent and long-lasting response than others being worked on, as well as protecting against new strains of coronavirus in the future."

A great summary IMO, and explains that Scancells approach is different(?), and perhaps unique?
