Volumes seem incredibly low today. What’s going on?
Published 26 April 2023. Sounds like they were saying then that they desperately need the UK government to step up and provide funding for them (and the UK & Scotland economy and all of us in the UK) to succeed. No faith in the govt to do anything though :(
From the original RNS below. Hopefully the money CPH2 managed to keep from the original deal still provides significantly increase(d) revenue and they won't end up having to pay it back. Fingers crossed the lawyers know what they're doing.
Under the agreement, CPH2 will receive an upfront licence fee, and thereafter, a technology fee per unit, followed by service and maintenance licences during the unit's life. The upfront licence fee is expected to be received in full by the end of the current financial year and to be recognised as revenue over the life of the contract.
The licensing of the CPH2 proprietary technology offers the Company the potential to significantly increase revenue in the short term without the need for additional capital expenditure. Given the business model's potential low cost and short lead time, the Directors believe it is an ideal opportunity to establish market share and improve market penetration on a global basis by using the high margin, low capex licencing strategy to fund further R&D.
Doesn't seem to have done too much damage to the share price. Don't know the details of the deal though.
From tpinvest on the AMTE board. Battery technology may be about to double or triple the range of light vehicles.
A report from PCMAG notes that the next key is going to be mass production, stating that the batteries will hit the market in 2027 or 2028, giving its vehicles 745 miles of range to start.
Then the plans move to a 932 mile range and a less-than-10 minute charging time. For a quick comparison, the article notes that right now the Tesla Model Y has a "maximum 330-mile range and 15-minute charging via Tesla Supercharger".
Toyota is just one of many automakers looking to commercialize the technology and the technology is still years away. In the interim, Toyota is using a new, low-cost "bipolar" lithium iron phosphate that the company says can result in a 20% increase in range and 40% reduction in cost.
But still, all roads eventually lead to solid state. And for Toyota, PC Mag predicts that once the technology is perfected, the brand will relaunch with Lexus its flagship electric vehicle brand
We’ll see. Maybe they are geniuses.
Good luck. How confident are you in £ terms?

So it’s no surprise that AMTE, along with many other UK companies, are talking out loud about moving production to the US. Now, on the one hand, you’d of course expect UK producers to make a song and dance about this. They want their own subsidies! Of course they do! And there’s big risks in doling out subsidies. What, for instance, if this turned out to be another BritishVolt?
This but sounds worrying.
BT’s pension fund suffered an estimated £11bn drop in the value of its assets as a result of the crisis and is down almost £15bn since 2022.
The crisis was Liz Truss last autumn.

Yes. I thought it was odd when he went there in the interview. There’s plenty of real use cases for green hydrogen without getting into that old argument. Just imaging the amount of spare electricity you would need to produce that much hydrogen.
Plenty of coverage in the Scottish press and the BBC but I'm unable to glean any more information. I did dip my toe in just before the close at 13.98p because I believe some sort of funding will be possible if all parties actually want that to happen. If it all goes tooties up I'll have learned a lesson!!
