Hi Nick, I can't be bothered to answer all your points but if I may suggest, go and research how the asset split if it happens that is, would be structured and you will see that 1,2 and 3 are incorrect assumptions and all the rest could be stated as being true irrespective time of any split. Anyway for your own info, go read and listen to previous webcasts for the answers, no offence, GL.

However if it did happen, poly would be in breach of sanctions by selling uts gold to sanctioned entities. This was one side of the equation that caused pog to fold. Poly have been very careful not to sell gold to the central bank so as to avoid sanctions which is why they stockpiled product in H1 last year, that is product that they started to unwind, along with the increased debt once they opened up new sales channels to the east.

Why would the Russian government insist on that?? At the start of the war the Russia central Bank, the buyer of last resort of Russian gold stopped buying gold. If the Russian government starts to go tits up because of the war they will most likely stop buying Russian produced gold once again, not the other way round.
