I really find some of you have such little patience, and in turn I therefore have little patience with you.

This is as good as can be expected. Debt rduced from 2.8 to 2.4
They still have accumulated gold which will be sold at higher prices in the next 6 months
The gap between production and sales will narrow by the end of H1
The AISC forecast remains at 1300 to 1400
Production hit target for 2022 and forecast remains in place for 2023
Production was up 15.63% for Q4 yoy
Revenue was up 30.2% for Q4 yoy

I have no opinion on redomicile as it hasnt happened yet and ifbthe war ends at some point remaining intact would be preferable.

Finally I quote Vitaly Nesis "In 2023 we are targeting stable production and a return to free cash flow generatio" and that means DIVIDENDS people, we might just have to wait 6 months is all.

Hi Jab, yes it does those figs are dps not fcf.

Squeeky, you are right divs normally announced in March agm, but buckeye also correct they can offer a special divi any time. I think this special is unlikely as reserves will be needed for any asset split provision via a dividend in specie. Before you ask I have checked and established any dividend in specie would be made on top of any cash distribution dividend and not instead of. We will not get notification of a return to dividend payment tomorrow but we will have a much better understanding of what is likely to happen in March.

I know the slide you are referring to CR888. For those who don't it comes from the investor day last April. It states that for every 1 RUB/USD movement in domestic currency there will be a change of approximately $0.02 per share in the dividend. For every $100/oz movement in the gold price it will change the DPS by approximately $0.14 and finally it states that for every 1% movement in inflation this will affect the DPS by approximately $0.01 per share.

On 26th September 2022 Gold was at $1628.20/oz the USD:RUB was at 58.39.

Today gold is at $1941/oz (When I last checked) the FX was at 68.7 and let's assume inflation is running at 10%.

To save you the calculation this would all mean that from golds recent low on 26/09/22 to this morning you would have an increase in Dividend per share of:...... drum roll...... +43.8c for the increase in gold, +20.62c from the improved FX and -10c for adverse inflation. all totalling a potential increase in DPS of +63.2c per share compared to last Sept.

All calculations are in USD/c so divide by 1.25 (Approx) to get your GBP/p figures

Tomorrow should bring much, much better news compared to where we stood last September/October.

Yes, you're right, they bought two years worth of spares and repair items just in case they couldn't get hold of them later. In effect, and very simplistically, they don't need to buy any more until later this year.

Indeed but from 2.8bn I think their forecast was to be back down to 2.2bn debt by yr end and below the 2bn threshold by the March meeting which is when Divis are traditionally announced. Looking forward very much to Wednesday

Nope Dingo, all looks good apart from the redomicile which is a pre-cursor to any asset split, and whilst that may not be imminent, progress on it may be announced Wed.

Great posts ElGuiri, great job. Everything you have written is also my understanding. Your second post is bang on, if it happens it will be by a dividend in specie, you will receive a new set of shares to hold alongside the ones you currently own and it will be up to the individual what they do with those shares sell on the open market, hold, part and part, whatever you want to do, it will be up to you. IF, and that is a pretty big if they do split, it will be very interesting to see what happens to the respective share prices and from what I remember, whilst PLOY R is not generating FCF at the moment because of capex, it is scheduled to do so in 2024.... double dividends anyone??
