Hi all, just looking for some opinions. Can see you are frequent posters here so would appreciate your views. Am I right in saying £357m was generated through placing 1.2bn shares in a rights issue at 30p a share&Approx 2 per cent of investors declined to take up their rights. Therefore a placing by the banks for the remaining 24m shares at 58p a share was completed to raise an additional £14m.
There is a significant difference between 30p and 58p if I’m right in saying because of the 4for1 rights issue/86% discount. Obviously some investors felt the remaining shares at 58p represented fair value but won’t new investors be thinking this is overpriced with 98% of new shares being issued at 30p? I’ve tried to piece my understanding together from previous rns’ so would appreciate your thoughts/knowledge. I feel like I am missing something important. Thanks in advance.

Just see that on 16th March the sp touched 35.31 at one point? If its bounced off greater lows before, hoping we can do it again

Aim Rules for companies:
Condition 8: Where the applicant is an investing company, a condition of its admission is that it raises a minimum of £6 million in cash via an equity fundraising on, or immediately before, admission.
An investing company must state and follow an investing policy.

An investing company must seek the prior consent of its shareholders in a general meeting for any material change to its investing policy.
Where an investing company has not substantially implemented its investing policy within eighteen months of admission, it should seek the consent of its shareholders for its investing policy at its next annual general meeting and on an annual basis thereafter, until such time that its investing policy has been substantially implemented.

Based on what dogger? I understand that two closes below 50 isn’t exactly what we’d hoped for but it’s hardly a reason to suddenly believe that there is a significant issue.

It was last Thursday. The closing price was 57.30. Due a bounce imo.

Seems to be range bound at the mo. Let’s just hope it stays within it tomorrow. Recovery to 53-58 seems to happen often here & don’t see any reason why it won’t bounce again . Could we see a retest of 46-48 and the start of a downtrend or are we more likely to see a rise to 58p Rights issue levels? Most likely to be bumpy but won’t be selling with more scope to the upside than down in the short term imo.

Briefly on 19th March at £1.96 but closed that day at £2.23! A week on ..26th March it reached £3.37. Swings and roundabouts but £1.00 is crazy talk imo.

Jolly, £1.00 - £1.50?? It’s just as easy to say I think they’ll be £4.00 - £5.00. I think the reality is in the short term they’ll be neither of the above. Long term potential? Bags of it imo.

Evening mate. Over the past 3 weeks I’ve been in CPI, Melrose, Meggitt, Lloyds, Barclays, Vast, eddy, reat, lsai, Itv lol won some lost some. My trouble is timing then worrying about the next dip. So volatile. Might take a look at palm mnrg and edl.
