Anyhow, air travel/cargo demand soaring! Lufthansa raised outlook, UAL raised outlook and shrugged of recession worries! IAG prelim results were fantastic and strong indication of growing demand!

With around 4-6 months before fed pivot + terminal rates right around the corner, and extremely cheap share prices, I believe we could see £1.80 by the end of first qtr 2023!

That's the spot price, futures are still elevated, dec contracts are at 355, jan at 380. We will see them sharply rise as storage decreases, especially if we get a colder than usual winter that can cause feb/march to be tricky.

As for the IAG stock price, I believe we're doing well. Today's inflow was 2:1 compared to outflow, many are getting in and building a strong position due to resilient travel demand and great earning projections form airliners. IAG is a generational buying opportunity imo, unless we have nuclear armageddon, in which case you still don't have to worry to much about making a loss :D winwin

120 is still cheap. Adding incrementally is generally the best option to reduce risk, it also depends on your appetite and what you want form a stock, long/short term etc. You build a position based on a verity of factors (inc. speculation). No one can catch the top and bottom, unless you are insider trading :)

A link to what, my excel sheet or refinitiv datastream? It's just more time consuming to upload stuff on cloud then generate a link etc. Would be better to just slap a snapshot.

No, not for EU airliners. DXY is ~60% euro weighted. Dollar turning will be beneficial for us though. It's causing a liquidity crisis in the EU (aaaand UK) and emerging markets.

Hoping you guys read my previous analysis on the dollar. Swiss National Bank access largest dollar swap of 6.27B in the history of the data set. This comes on the back of massive widening within the CHF-USD cross-currency basis swap. More to come in the coming months. Followed by a FED pivot early next year.

Kinda sht, lower than previous 8.2 vs 8.3%, however, higher than expected of 8.1%. Clearly inflation remains a threat. I now expect a 75pt hike in Nov. :(
