Thanks oo7 for the obsevtion. Compared to a usual days trading. For example there were large share trades not just AMC, ULVR,BA, WTB and others. The soze of the trades were large amounts too as if a clearing out or future decisions were being taken. Not sure which it just seemed 'out of the normal' and I wondered if the end of first quarter of financial year could be the reason?

I am curious regarding a seemingly increase in share trading of AMC yetserday. Is it because the end of half a calendar year of 2023? As this I found this a little unexpected I decided to look at trading yesterday in others in my portfolio to discover the same, pretty well, across the field. Is this a Trustees date of pension funds and institutions to make a half year change of holdings? Or, perhaps a future look at the second half of 2023 to invest their first quarter financial year cash accumulation? Or, maybe is it something entirely different which I have not thought of? I am curious to see if there are opinions out there regarding this increased trading for AMC and other shares? June 3oth appears to be a very active share trading date - why?
WF
Thank you Shadow.
What does that value each share at please?

Just curious to now if anyone will be attending today's EGM.

Is anyone having traded AMC, reading this board and non UK resident traded these shares recently? My broker IB is refusing to permit any trades, buying or selling due to sanctions. Everyone can see on LSE that they are being traded. I would be interested in a broker with whom I could transfer my existing shares.
One other option would n]be to swap shares to someone else but I have NO idea if this is possible on a personal v=basis although I am aware institution do this sort of thing.
Anyone's help would be welcome.
WF
Have been trying to sell some shares in AMC but my Interactive Broker Europe bureau cancels the trade even though I can see them being traded on LSE.
Has anyone else had this issue with their broker?
WF
How so Sparky? And what does one say to the tax man when one sells the shares that are still in force? Is that then the CGT?
Am I the only confused person over this dividends status? If, as has been stated become a 'cash shell' entity is this unusual divident actually a return of capital?
WF
Sorry the answer was posted yesterday MUST READ POSTS PROPERLY!
I have the same question as the other day - if I sell today will I still get the dividend?
Thanks Sec2Aux
If I sell my shares today would my broker still receive the dividend?
