Our very own Colin Bird speaketh today via a GLR rns . It contains the following :

“When the Company entered into the Term Sheet agreement to acquire Star Zinc (31 August 2017), it undertook that on proven success it would provide ore feed for the Kabwe zinc project. An offtake agreement to this effect is under discussion and negotiation."

I make it less than 0.2% of shares in issue have changed hands so far today and we're marked down 7% !

There's one person who knows more about where this company is going than anyone else. His name is Brian McMaster, and guess what, he holds not far short of 7m shares, the last 4.2m of which he was pleased to pay 18.5p for - so that's around £800k

Long and strong and still buying at every opportunity.

You're either a muck spreading shorter or just a total p1llock. BGS did a 5 for 1 share split to reduce the SP so for a true picture of BGS sp take today's price of over £2 and multiply by 5 - so the answer to your question is "very happy" - go and have a look at the 5 year chart

Completely agree with everything you say Bilko. But at least we know that LC could have had all that pay over the years credited to his personal bank account but remains happy to accrue shares instead ( at an unknown future price point)

Apologies smith76 - i was harsh in my previous post but this subject does come up all the time - usually via the resident muppet Jonathan now masquerading as MVZ - if you go through the last few years annual statements you'll see how much skin LC has in the game - eg in the 2017 report LC has £94213 unpaid salary which will be paid in shares at a future date. It's just a question of going back through the previous years reports and you'll find out who's got skin in the game.
From the 2017 annual report:
"During the period under review the Directors’ remuneration was adjusted to align with the cash fl ow requirements of the Group
and Company. The unpaid portion of the Directors’ remuneration are to be settled through the issue of new Jubilee shares under
the authority of ordinary resolution number 12 and special resolution number 2, passed at the Company’s Annual General Meeting
held on 27 November 2013. The amount that was short-paid to Directors for the period under review amounted to £ 155 662
(201 6: £ 252 769 ) and has been provided for in the accounts. Refer to note 6 on page 49
of this report for details of staff costs"

Total bull ! Have you heard of the concept of salary sacrifice ? LC is paid in shares instead of cash. Go back, read the annual statements and stop posting lies. Taking shares in the company instead of salary is 100% skin in the game.

Well Redden, Simon Sturge has been done up like a kipper by his own board then - he bought plenty at 3.5p in late April ! He's either thinking he's chucked it down the drain or maybe, maybe, he's not bothered because he sees the bigger picture...

Hi Oiltap - that's kind of my point - while it's fine incentivising directors with options, they essentially reward success but there's no real pain in the event of failure. Strikes me that by coming out and publicly buying in decent volumes they'd likely underpin the SP and offer some reassurance to punters like me who are nursing large paper losses.

I've been in here for a while but have to say the major concern now is why the directors aren't buying ? If we're sitting on the mother of all discoveries why are the motley crew holding less than 1% of the shares between them ?
