Exactly, the pain of dilution has progressed the company along the value chain to the point of the payoff. Is there still risk? Yes, some imo, but the upside is a quantum leap from here.

The simple fact is we are currently valued at £45m. We will be many multiples of this with a successful outcome. All the indications are pointing to that being the case . I’m in.

Very positive RNS in my view but a question for some of the more informed here with regard to phase 1 rigless testing. The RNS states “ Phase 1 is planned to commence before 25 January 2024 and is expected to take up to 14 days to complete.

The unforeseen regulatory issue relating to Guercif Petroleum Agreement Amendment No.3 has now been successfully resolved.”

The agreement amendment no 3 has obviously had issues and it also expires on 5th Feb 2024 which looks as though we’re cutting it very fine for completing phase 1 testing? Just seems odd to me that the timing appears so tight and for the avoidance of doubt I have sold down a chunk here today on the back of this.

Be interested to hear other opinions.

The board could sell their total combined holdings at the same time and it wouldn’t affect the SP.

No skin in the game, if the drills are succesful they’re quids in with options, if drills fail it doesn’t matter to them, token holdings and fat salaries.

Cottil, I actually think the conversion terms are very fair given the circumstances. A 15% discount isn’t bad and remember the incoming money from Leo Lithium will be used first to repay $2m of the prepayment released.

All that being said, we’re getting ahead of ourselves because this release of funds tells me that this deal is all systems go.

Gazza, my understanding is the $7m was being held in an independent escrow account, probably in some corporate lawyer’s client account . Today’s announcement is that half of this finance is now being released to Kodal to use operationally and we all avoid a placing.

This is a real statement of intent by Hainan imo - really good news.

If bad news was coming the sell off volume would be through the roof - we’re currently seeing daily volumes of around half daily average.

Well someone has had a very successful time reducing the SP. Amazing to think we’re around 10% lower sp in the last 5 days given the monumental newsflow.
