The cash element will be paid to everyone on the same date, the 29th of Feb.

you can buy shares today and sell tomorrow and you'll get the dividend. however, the price will usually fall by the amount of the dividend at tomorrow's open, I.e. by about 32p. So it's up to you.

Ex-dividend date RDS A and RDS B shares; February 18, 2016; Record date February 19, 2016. Merge date probably Feb 15th.
