When is the last date I can take the share offer up.

It takes a few days to sell shares and get the money into my account

Can somebody tell me what the difference is if I buy shares today and todays prices ie 1.3 or wait until they offer my entitlement which I guess will be at 1.2v??? I don’t don’t what the advantage is here?
