norwegian shipping company have banned shipping of ev or hybrid cars on their boats. they said "after a risk analysis we have decided to ban shipping of ev vehicles. if an ev vehicle catches fire it is impossible to extinguish on board and triggers more fires". this came after.a.cargo ship full of evs caught fire in rough seas and ultimately sank.
