RE: Funding and Prospectus31 Oct 2023 05:20
jersey crew - i think i have to agree with lastofthesumer on one key aspect...
business is business - its a cruel, badass world and the successful people are cold and gobble up any opportunity to maximise own personal gain. i think everyone here can agree on that. the point that lastofd raised about they having gcat over a barrel is a very valid one.
the new financiers will have seen the decline in sp from over 1p back to where we are in 2023. not a good look. they will have also seen the raises taking place and have done due diligence.
they will also be aware of what happened with the previous deal...
so they will know that gcat is desperate for this and in business when you know you have the better hand you play it accordingly to maximise your personal gain. in poker if you're sat with a nuts flush for example you know you're winning the hand. so the motivation becomes about how you maximise how much you win in thay hand. you may cheque first hoping your opponent raises for example.
the new financiers habe no time for sentiment, niceties and being polite. thats not how these money leeches work. so be prepared that robbie and the bod will be forced into accepting a weaker deal for gcat. that's to be expected given the current circumstances. at this point shareholders would just be greatful with any deal and that will be known and is clearly understood by the market hence the current sp.
rms job will be to maximise the best of a ****ty situation. realism is always needed sir.
