Big things are expected for these guys! Would be nice to see this rise a fair bit more for the loyal long termers amongst you! I see some decent buys going through, good sign.

Maybe not 10p but most of us here have many times the current sp averages. The revolution has to start somewhere. They have a plan to move forward, let's see how well they do. Its definitely a positive step to recovery.

Anyone heard anything worth mentioning? I keep hearing rumours of an amalgamation between us and one other partner, come on TPET, spill the beans.

Yep, I'm the same. Not saying I will hit my average anytime soon (9p) but its fair to say they will have a plan and move forward from this. We have all had dusters!! I worked in Greenland drilling for Cairn energy on the Corcovado and hit 5 dusters!! One after another. All adds up to more experience and more quality of workmanship for when they do strike, and they will. Not dead, not by a long, long way. I say hold also as the rumoured plans from their head office do not go backwards.

Let's just say I'm not sure how many people will be selling at this price when trading resumes in a few weeks! ;)

At the end of the day they have the seismics, they have the acreages and know there is oil down there, its just a case of finding it, being mid Jurassic, Cretaceous or whatever. Joining forces with another established company will bear fruit for them and I have a sneaking suspicion it will be sooner rather than later. Tangiers are a proud company, a successful company and will not fade into the distance. Watch this space. A successful plug and abandonment done professionally and not rushed speaks volumes for a decent client and drilling companies will see this. There is a great opportunity for investors, both corporate and private here. They just need to cut the 'right' deal with the prospective partner. Lots of rumours already from what we hear.

Is the trading suspension lifted from tomorrow morning for definite? They said they would update investors before it happened, i assumed today. But nothing. Come on TPET, what's the msterplan?

If this company is dead and buried like so many say then why the large buys in the last few trading sessions, they dont just happen by accident. Too many for random punts. I still reckon there is a curve ball here. Should find out some information today I reckon, if not I'm gonna make contact.

I'm expecting an announcement Monday regarding what's going on before trading, if any, commences. Rumour mill is on overdrive here, some say massive rises due to the proposed plans, some say a slow and steady decline to zilch. Which way? Anybody's guess. One day I'll be out the red, few years yet no doubt till I see 9p for sure!!!

At what point would these shares be worthless? I only have a few thousand at over 9p so nothing like any of you more dedicated investors. Hate seeing companies treat their lifeblood in this way. Thoughts for the future if no takeover happens? Or will this just continue to fall and finally settle below a penny and trade stagnantly for the foreseeable future? Come on TPET, answer the questions!

Surely if trading is halted you can't trade anyway. People are stuck here till we find out what's happening. Shifters will try scaremonger, I understand that to lower the price further to benefit themselves.

The shares are cash value just over 5p so this would have to be at least bettered for the takeover. I would estimate anything from 6p upwards. Still heavy losses for most invested here unfortunately. We will see.

My money is on a straight takeover. People have known this and bought shares. The volume spike for itself. Wonder how they knew to buy??

I did wonder why people were piling in buying this stock, now I know. That 10k the other day as well as the other high value trades. Just goes to show if you're in the know etc etc. Grrrr Wonder when they will let the cat out the bag officially.

Will be finalising a takeover no doubt with their neighbours. There was always interest in their blocks, now it seems they will get them cheap. How cheap is the question. Cash value here is 5 ish p, interesting weeks ahead.

I think the BoD may be negotiating a buy out figure on the share price. They have very interesting acreage after all surely tonappeal to other companies. The seismics alone are worth a lot.
