Thank you for the reply AJamesW, so the crucial well is 38,if that can replicate similar numbers to 16a then Bloe are proving up the production capability of the whole field. I can understand why they are reassessing their development strategy for this year in light of the numbers from 16a,if they can put another 4 or 5 wells into production in W/R this year then they have a cash machine to fund everything else.

Does any poster know the historical decline rate for these wells.Thanks in advance.

It seems to me from reading that segment of the RNS that they are planning for immediate further well development in the West Rustavi field to follow on from Well 38.

If you accept that the arrival of the well test kit is 14 days from the 3/4 RNS,then the time frame does make sense.
