As for the term "incompetent government" one could even remove the word "incompetent" and come up with the same meaning. Several decades of same have landed us in the mess we find ourselves today but when you consider the average "life" of a MP is around 12 years, short term thinking has abounded eg head in sand attitude towards the energy crisis which industry experts were were forecasting 20 years ago.
Trouble is the GBP (Great British Public) have been so engrossed in the pap spewed out on TV nightly to be interested in the way their country is/isn't being run, witness the poor turnout figures at every election.
Perhaps we deserve all we get therefore?

They have been crap for a long time and their providers seem to have overlooked the fact that there was a 50:1 'cos they show only 5p movements in the SP which is totally misleading if you rely on them for the value of Sareum in your portfolio. We sure need it-SP now at a level of almost exactly 10 years ago. Taking inflation into account over the 10 year period SP should be at 513p just to keep pace

Quite. Can you picture TM making a presentation to a prospective partner/buyer? All very well having a great product but no good at all if the other side of the table fall asleep before you've finished making your pitch.
