I did thanks PCS apart from having to endure local coach drivers on mountain roads believing themselves to be reincarnations of the late great Ayrton Senna!! On one occasion the scheduled bus service was an hour late and as a result was vastly overcrowded. Hammering back to Nice the bus was grounding on bends and on two occasions le chauffeur almost lost it and narrowly avoided hitting oncoming traffic.

Although I do speak French my suggestion that I should try speaking in the manner of Officer Crabtree was quickly quashed by SWMBO but I think we have all discovered that on more than one occasion these French folk just do not understand their own language. When it suits them!

Re Thoth; What a real tragedy. He was a pillar of strength for us all during the black days when the share was floundering badly and remained constantly so until the end. Although he intimated that all was not well with him last year one was inclined to think that his affliction was curable albeit over a long time but apparently not.

Whoever is in contact with his Family please add my sincere condolences. One can only hope that our products are successful and that his Family can at least benefit from his long term investment but without him it will be something of a Pyrrhic Victory.

When I asked my Tory MP if they would restore the dividend tax credit if re-elected she said no 'cos "there are better things to do with the money.". Says it all-greedy b......s the whole sodding lot of them.

Tories now grasping at straws big time. I was a life long supporter but after their continuing disgraceful behaviour trying to cover BoJo's rear end, the antics of various senior politicians who were convinced the rules did not apply to them Covidwise and the continuing raid on our pockets by the Chancellor a la Labour Party, all in all they are a disgrace. and they can get stuffed in future.

Unfortunately the alternatives ain't much better witness Smarmer's latest wheeze of allowing Councils to grab land at way below market value to build thousands more slums of the future.
