Quite- I worked in India on and off in the mid 80's and saw cases which had dragged on in excess of 10 years and seen off several sets of lawyers and judges.

I once mentioned to an Indian colleague how the Indian Civil Service ground so slowly ( at the time India had over 1Million employees). He merely smiled and said "you gave us a Civil Service- we have merely improved upon it"

we are all in the same boat-waiting for results and frustrated as hell by the apparent inability of our bod to get these wretched drugs anywhere near even a licensing agreement or to never mind on the market which must be years away if we are brutally honest with ourselves, but hacking chunks out of each other does not advance the cause one iota.

I bow to superior techy knowledge on this BB but I note that 737 went to the end of Clinical Phase II when in the hands of Sierra i.e. it is much, much further down the path than 1801, still languishing just over the border into Clinical Phase1.

So, in view of the secrecy surrounding the partnership between CRUK as announced a few months ago would it be a reasonable assumption that it is much more likely we will see some REAL SP value added news from 737 much earlier than 1801. If not, why this hush hush cloak and dagger stuff which to me indicates a desire to keep some very important data out of the public domain ftb?

Agree with you to some extent but considering those who have been in this share for well over 10 years, some in profit, some not, is there not a case for "bird in the hand thinking" holding some sway over the decision of PI's in the lowball scenario you mention bearing in mind a prospective purchaser will not be Mr Nice Guy and may well adopt a "take it or leave it" attitude.

None of us is getting any younger, including TM, and being the richest man in the graveyard has limited appeal!!

I am of the opinion that if 2 quid was offered there would be a lot of "bird in the hand" type decisions, however short-sighted some may think that to be.
