The Daughter of friends of ours is a Head Teacher and this week a parent, fresh from a holiday in Italy(!!!) pitched up at the school with Junior in tow. When it was discovered, Junior was isolated and Mama contacted. She protested that children are not catching Covid, ignoring that the teaching staff could, but was told in no uncertain terms "you've got 20 minutes to get your child out of here".
Similarly a shopper in a local store admitted to "just coming back from Europe and shouldn't be out really" (with a giggle I should add).
What with stories like the above and the hordes of idiots raiding supermarket shelves to the detriment of the elderly and infirm and those working all hours, one is bound to remark that the level
of common sense and concern for others seems to be at an all time low
