but the Chair and NED's who were brought in to a fanfare of trumpets and who seem to be doing nowt. Frequent requests for clarification of their roles and what they do on a day to day basis to earn their crust have been ignored and THAT is what is getting up the schonkers of the various posters to this Board and rightly so. We pay the Piper-it is our right to call the tune.
IF you are happy with this less than acceptable scenario then fine, but others feel it is not and voice their concerns. accordingly.

On Thursday Wood Group and Petrofac were down 10.57% and 7.56% respectively.
On Friday the debt laden WG had clawed back 6% while Petrofac managed only a piffling 0.76% despite the news of another contract win.
There can be no doubt now that the SFO is the major drag on this company's fortunes. When they decide that, despite their
best muck raking efforts there is no case to answer,the solids are going to hit the windmill led, hopefully, by institutional shareholders.

I have asked Mitchell 5 times what Parker and the NED's are doing/have been doing since appointment to further the fortunes of this company
I have yet to receive the courtesy of even an acknowledgement.
The products may be good (if as good as trumpeted on many occasions, why haven't we been snapped up) but the management is five star crap with no signs of it changing. If I was a potential new investor,having read up on the history of this share the conclusion would be not with a bargepole.

Well said Manro but the Big Boys know as well as we do that the SFO does not issue any form of progress report of whatever ilk and, furthermore do not even respond to letters any more. This is true traditional Civil Service total lack of accountability and they benefit also from being a "Non-Ministerial" Government Department, i.e. they are answerable to no one and can do just what the hell they like. It worries them not one iota that they are ruining Petrofac and its shareholders, including pension funds, the latter being especially of no concern to them as they benefit from 100% safe, solid gold taxpayer funded, index-linked pensions the like of which disappeared largely following the tax raid on private pensions by the odious, deranged Gordon Brown back in 1997.
By now you may have gained the impression I am not too fond of the SFO.

I have written to Himself yet again querying the actions, or lack of them, by the Chair and NED's. I have yet to receive a response but as he has not responded to four previous and similar requests I am not holding my breath.
I think he lives on another planet and the Chair and NED's on yet another.
