George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Welsh, we've all made mistakes in the past.
I am on a well over 200K down here at present. There will always be those that relish others pain, ignore them. Learn from the mistake. Don't panic, ignore the Doom merchants, Colin may have glossed over the cracks but the core project remains a very viable business proposition. No one has mentioned recently that the 1st 90% of revenue is AST's until exploration costs have been recovered - that fact will not be lost on any potential buyer.
We may never see the profit we all hoped for but personally think the share price will rise considerably from where we are today.
Totally agree. Even if we get a great news RNS tomorrow it isn't going to be the answer to all our problems.
As Investors we need to keep up the Lobbying / Pressure as clearly left alone the Board of Directors will achieve very little.
The biggest issue that needs addressing is in my opinion transparency, countless RNS's over the past 2 years have not shared the whole picture or indeed proven to be inaccurate 12 months down the line. I have challenged Colin on this and he maintains the information is what he has been given by "experts" at the time. That may well be the case but it highlights that as a Board they are not operating as a team, Colin is left on his own to do everything without any support or accountability by the Board.
Now is not the time to discuss EGM and Colin's suitability for the role however there is no question that Board is dysfunctional at best and the Non Execs should be replaced ASAP. Colin needs guidance, support and accountability. We as Investors need a committed communication strategy.
Walters - and to answer the 2nd part of your question, I protected my investment by selling it straight after the INA contract was announced.
Now that's a strategy most on here would agree we wish we followed.
I am aware of the relationship. Barbara did attend the meeting this morning hence my communication with her. Colin informed me yesterday that she was attending hence why I made contact. If you can suggest any party you think we need to be chasing I am happy to do the leg work. I am sure most of us on here want the same outcome.
I appreciate the permits are not in AST's name but if someone is sat at a table representing our interests then I am going to engage with them. I have had a follow on email from the blurb she sent on mass. I know many on here will question if its real or not but her it is :
Rest assured that we’re doing our best to help Ascent Resources and you, its shareholders.
It would be confusing and unfair if we would communicate details about our activities directly to AR shareholders.
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
I know many do not agree with my approach, but given Monday's debacle of an RNS I am going to make my voice heard as loud as I can.
Hardy / Parkeg, I have spoken to both Jana and Colin today please refrain from saying that I haven't until you have the facts. If you'd like call them yourself.

I am mearly trying to rescue what is left of my investment. There has been some good pro-active collaboration on here and twitter today that has got our situation on the agenda in Slovenia, surely that's a good thing.
I didn't go into anything other than the meeting as he wouldn't be able to discuss the review anyway.
One step at a time, lets try support in getting the IPPC sorted, then we can seek some clarity on the review.
I think the time has come for Investors to push the agenda rather than leave the Company operate to their own timelines.
