Hi Guys
It was indeed my buy and as someone said I am averaging down.
In fairness Colin has answered any questions I've emailed him over the past few months and in my opinion he's now got a much clearer view on how to take the company forward. There's no doubting he is disappointed by the response in Slovenia but it has made hime realise that maybe the legal route is the only way forward. One thing for sure he's hardened his view and is no longer the push over he once was.
Lets hope this does finally come good as there are many here that deserve it, one thing for sure I'm not expecting anything to happen fast but do think the current price is the bottom.

Long time no speak. As you say, I’ve always gone with your view of research, research some more.
Sadly I think Colin is just going along for the ride so taking my own action. Hopefully this sorry mess will come right for everyone.
If it were not for people like me the RNS of the 6th August would stand, had myself and others not stood up then we could be in a much worse situation than we currently are.
As for ARSO being under staffed, I am not aware they are. I am aware that Colin doesn’t answer thier queries in a timely manner.
I shall continue chasing ARSO, British Chamber of Commerce and the British Embassy. As for doing myself and other share holders no good, have you seen the share price? I think Colin has well and truly beaten me on that front.
Time will tell whose approach was the most appropriate.
Not listening. Colin has been given more than enough time. I don’t believe much of what he says anymore, prefer to get my own info and encourage others to do the same. We all have different approaches to these things, I’ve been patient now I’m being direct. Colin claims contact has been “abusive.” I can assure my contact has always been extremely professional and polite but as a concerned investor I have the right to question the companies actions and speak to third parties.

I had more or less the exact response on Monday.
Colin must love us. In my opinion it can only help us that the British Ambassador is getting regular communication from concerned investors, she will be asking questions of all parties involved. One thing for sure is we wont have any of Colin's overly optimist non committal statements, she be expecting him to deliver facts.
Given how Investors have been constantly let down its our right to ask questions.
Here's my list of contacts should anyone want to chase anything. Leave everything to Colin and watch your investment fail is my opinion.

Personally at such a critical juncture I think we need to retain Colin as he has the operational contacts and has spent the past 2 years building industry relationships. The rest of the Board, especially Clive should go tomorrow in my opinion.
Colin needs a new Chairman, someone who will support and challenge him.
Today Colin asked we refrain from contacting the third parties, in particular sending them challenging / abusive emails.
Earlier in the week I vowed I to make a complete nuisance of myself until someone listened and took action, thankfully many other investors also took up the mantle. I have never once sent anything remotely abusive but rest assured I have been extremely challenging and demanding. In my opinion we have mearly won the battle, the war continues.
I will leave the third parties alone for the time being but I am seeking a commitment from the company to give us the owners of the company a much clearer picture of what is actually going on. We have tolerated nonsense RNS's with information that is subsequently proven to be incorrect for almost 2 years and it cannot continue. The strategic review needs to be either brought to conclusion or an interim shareholder update provided, after all its been ongoing since April.
I appreciate the thanks of my fellow investors but it really isn't necessary, I am protecting my investment, if we continue to work together we can make our voice heard and control the destiny of what is our company.
I am up 100K today, still in a loss though!
I didn't average down even though I did discuss the option with a friend 1st thing this morning, if id have bought any more I'd be the one issuing a TR1.
I'm quite happy where were are at present and quietly hopeful the Strategic Review will deliver some long awaited shareholder value. The fundamentals are good, Gas, Permits & no debt.
I just think its been a disgrace the way events have un-folded and cost many investors lots of money. After all a Paper loss isn't really a loss buy many took the hit on the chin this week as a direct result of the Boards inactivity and poor communication.
I'm with you on this earthling.
You have to feel for those that took the loss this week. After 24 months of Gravy tomorrow RNS's then all of a sudden the Were Closing down on Monday would spook even the most adventurous of investors. Colin & Co should be held accountable.
During all this turmoil the Strategic Review has been going on.
Can't help but think if anyone was interested in a Take Over surely they didn't miss the opportunity to get some shares on the cheap? Wouldn't be surprised to see a TR1 early next week.
Lets not forget that a lot of people took big losses this week. In my opinion that was a direct result of the Boards poor communication and inability to deliver on time over the past 18 months.
Its easy to say that they (the investors) made the decision to buy and sell but you have to admit giving the fact we went from "Transformational Year" in June to Mondays - last man switch the lights off, all with a Strategic Review going on in the background it was hard not to sell.
Our priority now needs to be establish a clearer more precise and open line of communication with the Board and support them to fetch the Strategic Review to a satisfactory conclusion.
The meeting in Slovenia yesterday was a direct result of the RNS on Monday and Investor Pressure.
Had there been no RNS then we would all be sat here waiting, watching the slow and painful decline in share price with no news from the Company.
Monday's RNS caused a reaction, it may well be the best RNS this year in my opinion. Hopefully the Strategic Review can now fetch some real offers to the table and we can see real shareholder value.
Meaow, this Cat ain't going anywhere.
Gas in the Ground, Permits to extract it, no debt and 90% of Revenue until exploration costs recovered.
Either a joint venture or full blown takeover but this sure price is only going up now.
We need to focus our questions now on the Strategic Review.
Permits are now back on the table so we need to know what direction the Board think we should go. Are we looking for a Joint Venture or is someone looking at a Takeover, what we don't want is someone to buy the Slovenian interest on its own, the last thing we need is Colin & Clive off shopping with our money. Personally I want to see a sale.
Im pretty Confident Colin has been down this road before but where has it got him. Perhaps he's been Mr Nice Guy and not pushed for Commercial commitment.
I'm sure the Embassy do not want disgruntled investors threatening to issue press releases etc which is my next move if things don't show any signs of progression. We have the Ambassador parading in the Glory yet 18 months later British Investors Millions of pounds out of pocket.
Ive no issue with Colin sitting down with those involved and saying look we need to sort it or this disgruntled investor is going to be a complete arse. They can call and think of me what they like as long as the company achieves its commercial goals and we the investors are not left out of pocket.
Bull**** blah blah blah cant say anything from Barbara who attended on behalf of the British Chamber or trade. Referring us to Colin.
Colin has spoken with investors today and confirmed he will update us on the outcome of the meeting shortly. I have had an email off him confirming that it was positive but he did point out that he has had positive meetings in the past and that is actions that count.
For those interested the following list of email address's may come in handy. As I have said for the past 48 Hours I am going to email / tweet / phone people until they are sick and tired of me. In the past Colin has asked people refrain from chasing any third parties, well in my opinion Monday's RNS put us in a whole new ball game.

You might not always get the response you want but we need to keep Ascent Resources and its disgruntled investors on their agenda.
