Bernie. Firstly I don't understand what gives you this bitterness and spite. Why are you desperate for others not to do well?
Secondly, on working interest. Let's say CEB farm-in to 3 wells producing 400bopd each, as suggested. They optimise these 3 wells to 1600bopd each, as suggested.
That's 4800bopd. CEB retain a 35% increase:
Majority owner 1200bopd -> 3120bopd
CEB interest -> 1680bopd
This is what DW describes as the win-win situation. Now, to apply some metrics.
1680bopd x £30k-£40k per bopd =
£50.4m - £67.2m valuation, based on peer group comparison.
So, consider that whichever asset is announced first, asset 2 and asset 3 etc will follow shortly after. We're told they will just keep adding and adding, and if a raise is required that's positive indeed. Plus we have the gas coming, possibly sooner than first thought.
So it's pretty clear to me that, particularly based on the rhetoric, the current sub-£10m mcap is certainly not going to appear overvalued.
Enjoy your weekends.
