Member Info for wadz

I'm very new at investing in shares and have some in PMO. I read of a merger and am wondering how these will effect my current holdings. If I sell now i lose around 4.5% which isn't huge. I'm just concerned if this goes bad I lose a lot more. Any advice would be great. Thanks

My average is worse at £1.18 :(

I've topped up after the highs in recent weeks and now have an average of £1.18. Planning to top up some more to bring my average down as I believe this will come could but just need patience.

Same here. I thought i missed some bad news and couldn't see why this had dropped

I have all three of those also. Patience is key. Hindsight is great but you live and learn. Tomorrow is another day so good luck to you all

My shares were brought via Orca app. Not sure what other options I have as I've contacted the app team who day they are too new and don't offer that option yet and Hammerson say they can't do anything at their end :/

Follow up message from Hammerson:
It’s difficult for the lowest cost operators, occasionally they are also not holding the shares but operating via derivatives, which complicates matters.

 

Last time, a number of the larger platforms such as Hargreaves Lansdown ended up selecting it for all clients, but it is a matter of lobbying from all sides.

 

Effectively, the retail investment industry has been under massive cost pressure so service levels, including those relating to corporate actions, have declined due to massive margin pressure.

Got the following reply from Hammerson:
We cannot unfortunately.  You can either apply pressure and try to persuade them to accept the scrip on your behalf.

Alternatively, you could ask them to transfer the shares from their nominee account to your own name on the share register and then apply via the registrar in the usual way.

I just checked with the Orca app customer services and they only do cash dividends! Anyways we can contact Hammerson and override this?

I'm buying at each drop point. Have purchased triple my initial intended amount lol

Anyone know if you brought the shares via Orca app if you get the same options for shares? If so how are you notified of your choices?
