Hi Max.I know it's been a horrible day for most on here,i just don't see the point in giving up.Sentiment is such a driver on this share and if we can get 1 or 2 positive pieces of news then who knows.I'm also in SAR,who's share price has been tumbling from over 9p recently.People were saying there'd be nothing happening for months etc.In a few days it dropped almost 50% to around 3.2p,then a director buy of just £10k was the catalyst for a 40% swing north that day and it's currently back to 5.8p.Just an example of how things can turnn around so quickly.A director buy in here,CTDA sign-off,EU HUA could spark things off again.Waiting is hard but it may be the only option for this one.Hope it turns for you.

@Traderb.Yes,if/when approvals come i think it's game on for commercial opportunities to be quickly realised.There were also a coupke of ambiguous statements re the DHSC contract :
"Given the outlook on COVID manufacture for the UK government is uncertain.."
and..
"..ongoing uncertainty about their future utilisation of our manufacturing capacity"
So we have "ongoing uncertainty"..that doesn't necessarily conclude that production for the govt. will definatley not happen.The contract has expired ,yes, does this mean though that a new one cannot be forthcomimg upon approvals/shortages ? I'm not relying on it bit i still think it's possible we will manifacture for the govt. at some point,.to what volume who knows.Things can change.

@Captain.Yep,you've lost.me now.Are you trying to call me out because i have previously berated you for bashing this company's prospects at least a dozen times every day for the last few months,and before that under your alias of FourFiguresBull ? there will be less bashing after tomorrow's initial SP drop (assuming there is one) as a few here take up positions at the new lows.

Some fair points for sure,but "totally wrote off covid as a revenue" ?
From this mornings RNS :
"Covid 19 revenues remain extremely difficult to predict" (so not zero then)
"..we expect further commercial supply opportunities to follow" (re DAM agreement)
" ..we are encouraged by other emerging commercial opportunities for our Visitect Antigen test that will be unlocked following approvals"
I may be mad but i still believe there will be sizeable orders for our LFT if we could get 1 or 2 bloody approvals out of the way. Revenue predictions have certainly been revised down,but certainly not a dead duck.

You're right Captain.I'll sell all i have at 7.59am at a huge loss.Kudos..you spied my daring plan.If i was going to sell it would have happened this morning,and certainly not after tomorrow mornings opening SP by the sounds of things.

Terrible day today but i'm not accepting this is a "dead duck" whenever we are ahead of the pack on self-test approval application and globally LFTs are in such short supply.

May be wrong,but from memory,isn't Colin losing £8k for every 1p drop from his last buy-in at 54p ?.if so,he's now down almost £200k ?.maybe it's £800 per penny..anyone..?

Yes Hedgefun,there were plenty of warnings.The bit that always caught me tho was the DHSC facilitating talks with 3rd parties etc. I always thought that if that contract wasn't kick-started then at least we would have a back-up plan/orders from all these ongoing discussions with 3rd parties and talk of onshoring/UK-made LFTs..pending approvals.

That a horrible pisition Hani1,like many i'm sure.Will this see 50p in next couple of months on home use approval and some orders from DAM ? It may be close enough to break even for many..especially if funds allow for an average down when this dust settles.Heavily underwater as well but i'm adopting an 'attack is the best form of defence' approach..again..tho i was hoping that would have come up trumps by now !

Was massively up myself on a couple of occasions so i share in your vexation.I'm blaming myself tho..2nd to the underhanded bunch of clowns residing in Westminster.Colin sure isn't the best CEO in town,but UL diagnostics has been hugely screwed over by those purporting to be supporting it.Bottom drawer.

Well said BIGBangs.I was thinking of Tricky as i know she also has alot invested here,and think she also got stung recently on GDR.Hope you're ok as well Tricky..this will get better.Intersting points you raise BB regarding the DHSC contract,or rather lack of. I don't think all is lost either way.Is there a chance it may be reinstated,or could we get another contract based on J.Bell's "onshoring" and "waiting on a British company going through MHRA" ? Yes,if DHSC is no more,it also releases the stranglehold on capacity,IF we are able to use the govt.loaned machinery for external commercial production.We still have a gold standard LFT and we're still eagerly awaiting EU HUA. DAM opened 40 clinics in a year,intend to expand throughout Europe and into Mexico..they may just be our ticket out of this mess.Sensible comments earlier from @Traderbuckie as well might i add. I added more at 27p this morning..long term bargains imo.

To see how presentation goes this evening.It's a dire RNS,no hiding the facts.Many here already thought the DHSC contract was dead in the water,i had hoped it wasn't.Still believe CTDA and EU HUA will lead to significant orders for the LFT via DAM,and still believe the 'onshoring' of LFT manufacture will include us.Certainly a longer term hold now,but definately not giving up.
Btw. @allah.I only ever posted positivity based on the info. available to us and had hoped that the SP would one day recover to the £1+ area,nothing wrong with supporting your investment.So some people were right and some people were wrong re DHSC..it's the manner in which they bombarded the bb with agenda-driven negativity that annoyed most.Not over by a long shot.
