I thought it was worth multiples of £10m mkt cap before the update. Now, I'm uncertain and concerned. If there's no cash raise and we're not giving up all of jv, then worth multiples of current £4m value. If there's raise at a discounted price, then it's a different story...

It will be an outrage if they go for a rights issue from here. The overspends were alluded to in the accounts when sp around 23p. So if that's what's required should have been done then. At.the very least it should have been tagged to that distress update RNS. A rights issue now after absolutely decimating sp would be disastrous dilution for long termers

Helge moving to jv; mention of reduced stake in jv. I suspect that's the direction of travel i.e. we'll be giving up jv stake. Immediate cash inflow can't cover shortfall by December and rights issue from here a non-starter. It is a real shambles

Would be criminal if they relinquish jv share. That should have been a game changer for share holders. This cash crunch hasn't happened overnight, its been brewing for months. So why not raise £5m at 20p when they had the chance. A smart experienced board, on paper at least, has dropped the ball.

There is a $17m (c£13m) cash shortfall in jv. LBE share of which is 51%, so £6.5m. Current assets/cash were c£4m at 31st December, assuming this has dwindled to £2m. They now need to find £4m mimimum. Feels like a dilutive rights issue in the offing. We'll know in a few weeks

0.49% to 0.53% is an 8% increase in short position. CNE hasn't purchased 8% of the shares, so it must be more shorting that's caused the disclosure.
You would think the GOI cash is in the bag but then why hasn't share price risen any higher? Perhaps, the market doesn't like the Egypt foray and thinks the cash will be squandered. Look ar Pharos, it moved into Egypt and the share price was decimated
