Just started following this one and decent yield but is it safe?
Read the updates and seems robust collections and decent dividend cover . Interested in views of the board as seems like some knowledgable posters here.
Haven't dipped toe in yet but considering it.
PB...I don't disagree with your assessment and shame this didn't make it through. Some buyers remorse from your 1.59 trade this morning?
I was lucky enough to trade out of a portion of my holding at 8am this morning (according to my broker execution 1 second into the trading session). Put some of the cash back in at 1.60 later in the day so holding actually increased. If we see 1.20 ish again might take some more.
The one concern I would have is a continuation of the listing. Nowt I can do about that and hopefully someone starts sniffing around seriously later....not too early but that's my exit plan.
Back in the 2021 folder for this one.
Just listened to a gaming analyst here in US and quote - "sports betting is a mess politically but it will get done in all the major states." NY, Fl, CA
I too have conviction it will happen and as I wait for Webis to deliver will play on the other Nasdaq listed online gaming stocks.
Anyone with access to UK premarket prices would be great if they could post prices tomorrow pre opening. I am in US and my broker doesn't have UK pre market prices.
Hurt a bit.....that's defiantly glass half full. Suspect this will hurt more than a bit....near term catalyst has been pushed out, why bid for a company that legislation has been delayed.
Could be completely wrong but pretty sure decent amount of short term traders are here so why will they wait?
Webis in the right spot just timeline extended....odds on the amount of " just topped up posts tomorrow"
My two pennies worth are the price moves in Nasdaq were largely due to Friday being quadruple witching, when options and futures on indexes and equities expire. Happens every quarter. This can lead to greater volatility and it happened to some of my other US bio small cap holdings...one was down 31% on no news and up 12% after hours when the professionals stepped back into the market.
Wouldn't surprise me if an algo got triggered over the rebalance, which lead to a rapid unwind that in turn took out stops, which fueled more.
Of course they are not in favor as provides consumers with more options and eats into their profits. Isn't this the furtherest the bill has got?
Probably drop tomorrow. Volatility provides opportunity. Somewhat naive if you were expecting this to sail through.
One tribe objecting...states that the bill grossly overstates revenues and does not protect tribes.
Tribe Gaming Association is objecting. Saying that revenues are a long way off and Covid crisis will have passed.
14 other tribes and associations called in to object. One Sheriff Association objected and one other person who phoned in.
Went to suspense.
If the bill is approved tomorrow then I can't see the governor not approving it given the fiscal budget shortfall.
I am assuming that approval on the ballot Nov 2020 is odds on given the Democratic leaning Californian population.
Lots of assumptions but yes tomorrow is key in my mind.

What’s Coming Up Next
The next hearing for SCA-6 is set for Tuesday at noon EST. where it will be presented to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
From that hearing, the California State Legislature will have exactly 16 days to pass the bill through all of the proper channels in time for it to land on Governor Gavin Newsom’s desk for approval.
Should it pass and be signed by the Governor, constituents in California will be seeing the subject of sports betting legalization on their November 2020 ballots.
While the time frame is short, Dodd will continue to work tirelessly to get his bill passed by its June 25 deadline. He said that over the next and final few weeks left how he will be working with stakeholders to continue to make tweaks to the bill to get it to advance through the legislative process for approval
