Very happy to have done just that here over a year ago. As a personal (not professional investor etc.) choice I don't subscribe to this idea of needing to have several horses in several races, as this clearly isn't sports betting. I invested all I was willing to into a company I have great faith in and knowledge about, and get along with my life without having to chase the latest 5%-er that people on twitter are pumping and dumping and get in on a hunch or fear of missing out (been there). To each their own and all the best with all your decisions.

Couldn‘t have topped my ISA up better at 236 yesterday! After initial purchase at 14.5 over a year ago and numerous top ups along the way all the way until the 200s but yesterday was the first in a few months. Well done all orher LTHs.

That website also says this here below, but I don't remember it ever happening...
" Does the London Stock Exchange close for Lunch?
Yes, the London Stock Exchange does close for lunch."
Probably trust the official website on that. We'll see at 12 either way.
Sensyne (AIM:SENS) have just announced magnifeye, a covid tes smartphone reader.

"... and underlines the importance of testing as well as mask wearing, saying it is the patriotic thing to do. Emphasising his wearing of masks is not about him being safe but keeping you safe."
Until he is in charge, there is no indication whatsoever of anything getting under control over there. It's really pathetic. And we will not be out of the woods until every major country has it under control. Unfortunately, testing and vaccines will be required for a long time. This also means that Avacta's rise is hopefully/probably ahead and there to stay.
Honestly I think when/if the rapid LFT (and other COVID stuff) materialises, the USA might be a much bigger customer than the UK. More people, more cases, more out of control, and smaller/absent competition. https://twitter.com/RapidTests/status/1332818539137396742?s=20 or people like https://twitter.com/michaelmina_lab strong advocates for testing in US make the case and it seems there is a huge gap to be filled. So in any case, everybody focusing on that one tender alone forgets that the market is pretty much worldwide, and will be for 12-24 months.

Affimer mentioned here (page 3/6), shouts to Ophidian on twitter, I just googled to find the document.

Highly unlikely that they would try to rush through first-in-human affimer attempts just for fun especially on something as high profile as that. One can dream.
Nevertheless, happy about the movement today! There is a lot to look forward to, no need to make up things out of the blue to explain the excitement that causes those rises (TT, Validation, Gov contracts, BAMS, PREcision, Neutralising etc.). Fingers crossed for Avacta and the world.
