BATM (LSE: BVC; TASE: BVC), a leading provider of real-time technologies for networking solutions and medical laboratory systems, announces that its Adaltis subsidiary has launched ELISA Serological Test Kits that diagnose if a patient has had COVID-19 by detecting antibodies against it present in their blood.



The Adaltis Serological Tests are fully CE certified and the Group has commenced shipping initial orders to several customers in Europe. It is now ramping up production for larger quantities to fulfil further orders received from these customers.

"Our output will be down in the second quarter, and it is
very uncertain how the rest of year will unfold," BP
Chief Executive Officer Bernard Looney told Reuters last week.

BP said it will reduce its U.S. shale oil output by 70,000
barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in 2020, around 14%
lower than its 2019 output of 499,000
boepd.

LONDON, May 4 (Reuters) - Oil and gas output from some of
the world's top oil companies is set to drop by over 12% in the
second quarter of 2020 to levels not seen in at least 17 years,
according to Reuters calculations.

I like to see CPI at 30p again and this time i my trade big, and is it a good buy at 36p for long term? Very small holding in Avacta over night and results are out Wednesday .

Oils I like the look of CNE and day trade TLW, PMO , metals EVR ,KAZ ,FXPO and GLEN.

Plus500 Ltd. (LON:PLUS) shareholders will have a reason to smile today, with the analysts making substantial upgrades to this year’s forecasts. The consensus statutory numbers for both revenue and earnings per share (EPS) increased, with their view clearly much more bullish on the company’s business prospects.

After the upgrade, the four analysts covering Plus500 are now predicting revenues of US$574m in 2020. If met, this would reflect a substantial 62% improvement in sales compared to the last 12 months. Per-share earnings are expected to shoot up 92% to US$2.59. Previously, the analysts had been modelling revenues of US$484m and earnings per share (EPS) of US$2.09 in 2020. So we can see there’s been a pretty clear increase in analyst sentiment in recent times, with both revenues and earnings per share receiving a decent lift in the latest estimates.

A new drug developed by UK scientists to treat Covid-19 patients is being trialled at University Hospital Southampton.

Developed by UK bio-tech company Synairgen, it uses a protein called interferon beta, which our bodies produce when we get a viral infection.

Initial results from the trial are expected by the end of June.

There are currently few effective treatments for coronavirus with doctors relying on patients' immune systems.

I like AZN , in the last four weeks AZN increased £30 billion in value. in my view markets could get worst in second quarter but then who can predict the markets. But in 2020, instead of taking place on 4 May, the early bank holiday will be on Friday 8 May – VE Day. This was meant to ensure that the long weekend would coincide with the extended 75th anniversary celebrations of the surrender of Nazi Germany, which ended the Second World War in Europe.

Bank holiday should have been today first of May.
and usually is the first Monday the month of May.

Yes but spare thought for people who bought Avacta from the start equivalent to nearly £50 now days.
Avacta share price now are just over a penny in old many , i bet they are not happy,
long way to go for them if they still holding.
