Actually Bear it was you who's made a nuisance this morning, you said CF mentioned 60p before Christmas and haven't backed up this claim with evidence, I certainly didn't hear him say that and I watched the same presentation
Recently it's just been CF character bashing which wears thin when you hear in day in day out on this board, hearing both sides of a companies performance is great, but blatantly making an effort to relentlessly bash a man's character is tedious, we've heard it all before, give it a rest or come up with another point to argue
Happy Sunday all,
I have read recently (and with increasing frequency in the past few weeks) the fact that a major market correction will happen quite soon and that the majority of private investors will be burned in the process, I myself have only been investing for a year so have no idea how far wide the correction will be and what that will mean for Orph? But I sure as hell would like to learn.
Can someone smarter than myself explain what may happen and how hard it might hit? Obviously noone knows when it might occur, but will all stocks take a hit?
I feel for you Moniman, im in the Orph t group and it seems a few of them will also be affected by this, they were discussing IG and supposedly there was a list of stocks that were emailed out last week where by COB today they were raising the margin requirements of them to 100% (due to 'market volatility'
Now Orph wasn't on the initial list of stocks but another member has said that the initial list of stocks is about to grow exponentially (potentially up to 1000)
It might cause a mini market sell off next week if people have to reduce positions by 75%, they are guessing that a lot of the closing only ones are prime candidates for this 100% margin rule.
Apparently you can just change the rules as and when you are losing
Oh and just while I'm here, good to see you again Blah, so sad you didn't get your 23p entry you called last week
Hahahahaha Mr Dribbles why don't you wipe the **** from your mouth you absolute muppet, I find it funny you call this the rampiest board on LSE and mock any forward focussed chat when I discovered this pearler of a msg you left on the FLX board last week.
'10 bag or even 50 bag'
All it needs is ONE mega-contract. Remember we are involved with Govt and unable to name several sensitive deals due to NDC.
Now im no detective but that is the rampiest and forward focussed msg I've ever read, and unlike Orphs endless 'known assets and contracts' it's based on absolutely nothing more than hope, so do everyone a favour dribbles and take you and your 3 troll accounts elsewhere you sad sad little man
Ive ever seen as many ******ed posts on this board as I've seen in the last week, people must really be interested in Orph now if we are now attracting derampers on both LSE and ADVFN late on a Saturday night.
John Henry sounds like he could be the poster named 12toes over on the Orph ADVFN board
'I don't care about new investors' that's definitely up there with the stupidest things I've ever heard
Well if you dont care about attracting new investors or getting any kind of momentum behind the SP again, who's going to buy your shares then when you want to sell up?
This is great news, some on here love to moan about everything
What a sad board this has become, CF probably read through all of your moaning and bed wetting the last few weeks (the amount of why is CF quiet, its too quiet, he needs to talk) and so he sends out a very clear and positive RNS to help keep you feeling safe.
And yet you still all moan, we know invesco or whoever is selling are selling, so I'd rather them sell into semi good news as opposed to the amazing news we know is coming. This RNS is very clear and positive, there's too many people to screen quickly and too many far away eg Newcastle and Manchester so let's open more centres to quickly screen them for HCTs.....
Try being happy during a trying time for humanity
Just buy back in already, your deramping is obvious and the fact that you are using the BB to 'contact CF' like it's some sort of Ouija board instead of emailing Open Orphan directly is just sad and a lie.
Absolutely sensational news that Open Orphan won the stock of the year for Sharetalk (and forgive me as I know this subject has been done to death of late) but the fact that CF essentially opens the interview with him talking about guiding the market and the SP and not wanting to sky-rocket etc it just immediately puts me and any new investors off.
I've never known a CEO to constantly talk about a SP let alone try to manipulate it, just don't mention it, talk about the company's many successes instead of leading with talk of the SP.
Maybe I've had too much Xmas leftovers and wine.
Rant over
Bronx you keep saying "I've got my answer so im happy"
well it would be fair to the rest of us for you to share the reply you received today, as you've literally clogged this BB all day long with your 'suggestions' of II's dumping their shares
Markshares i dont speak for anyone else on this board, personally I dont mind people selling, everyone has different circumstances that define our actions, BUT if someone does sell, then constantly posts the same negative things/questions it does seem odd.
Dont get me wrong they're legitimate questions to ask about Invesco 100%, but the questions get an answer and then the same concerns are posted again and again.... like what are you waiting for, Cathal to respond personally? He addressed IIs selling in the last presentation, if you don't believe him them thats fine, sell now and buy lower (I would If I could pick the highs and the lows)
and im sorry but Wayzgoose but this is no way a traders share. And are you saying there won't be a wearable deal or NASDAQ listing?
It seems that a few have sold out now around 23 and are trying to push the SP down lower to buy in lower. Seen this tactic many times over many shares in my life
This is as undervalued as ive seen a share, but as all share do it will rebound.
Good luck LTH
Hi All
First time posting in LSE, been in the background a while though, enjoy reading through the comments each day as its quite entertaining.
I've been invested in Orph since early October (only a 1%) gain so far so can definitely understand frustration that the SP hasn't really moved of late (there's been 5 or so positive RNS since I invested and the SP has dropped most times and remains the same) not all investors have been lucky enough to be up 3/400% at the moment, so its much easier to say 'be patient' from the other side but it does start to make you wonder what its going to take to make the SP move.
Maybe its the Approval that will be the catalyst for the re-rate, maybe they want to see CF turn water into wine (id back him too)
I guess what im trying to say is that its frustrating for some late comers to the party, having not left the station when it feels like we should be flying. So maybe understand that before calling people greedy and what not. Not everyone is as well off as others but we all believe in CF and Orph.
Good luck to all
