The issue is - 24 hours USE BY date not long enough for a commercial product.

Even if Freeze dry - thats fine to get product to end user (Cosmetic manufacturer) but then once they add it to their liquid product THAT is the issue - 24 hours .

What has got so many spooked this morning was that we all believed that the product itself was a done deal - and all that remained was the testing on Humans... But now we have discovered (Thank you red DOT) that the product ITSELF is not yet out of R and D - as it still needs to be perfected to last.

The way the RNS was written also indicated that the very Human Trial itself was dependant on the ability to extend this 24 hour longevity issue - indicating that if that hurdle was not overcome the trial may be jeopardised (Between the lines that has spooked the market)

Current drop today directly related to sbtx.

Skin will bounce back by next week and Opti will follow.

Also news now overdue from Opti which further supports.

Remember also large director buy at current SP

Hi .. I just bought more .. as I said I was already holding so averaging down.

I hope I don’t get blamed for 13 % down as anyone that thinks any of this affects share price is misguided.

I see that product .. in liquid form .. only lasts 24 hours.

I also read that human trial .. subject to getting active ingredients to stay active for extensive period.

We are only weeks before the trial .. surely this is a big issue if still can’t make the product last.

Also .. why are they stating cash availability now .. £400,000 down since December before trial starts. (Placing anyone)

What do others think as I’m holding here and maybe reading too much between the lines.

RNS has deduced two months - but no basis to have reached that conclusion and given this has dragged on (and countless investors down) since 2014 - no guarantees that this will indeed come to fruition in any specific period as 'timely manner' for a Government that has spent four years so far - may mean anything.

Those that saw the RNS and got in 40/50% up today - EXCELLENT move - but buying now ..hmmmmmm

Following the operational update on Monday 6 August 2018, the Board of Ascent is pleased to provide an update on the positive outcome of recent discussions with the Slovenian authorities.

(How recent / When were the discussions)

The Company has been assured the required permits will be processed without undue, further delay, (In what form were the assurances) which the Company takes to mean they should be issued in final form in the next two months.

(Why two months - where does ...without delay ... equate to two months. Also what is final form (Will there be further issues/ processes etc)

It is therefore pleasing to report that at a meeting this week between staff from the British Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia, the Environment Ministry and officials from ARSO, undertakings were made by ARSO to review the outstanding amendments as a priority, in a timely fashion, ......once they are submitted by the Joint Venture partners.

What outstanding amendments - clearly from this statement all has NOT yet been submitted and given by the companies own RNS that the progress has been sloooowwwww .. (2014) what does review as a priority in a timely manner - a week, a month, six months.

Who controls access to film/stream live.. is it performance artist promoters or venue.

I like the mention of ticket sales .. indicating live performances.. and I can see the value in being able to attend a live performance then come home and rewatch the next day on VR ..

But not sure why there was not more and we have to wait for interim results end of August to find detail.

Realy hope not being suckered into a rise and another placing as it’s been a few months and don’t want history to be repeating.

SKIN is never ending on a upward trend that will only stop when the human trial is announced as starting - Then drop for a couple of weeks before taking off in preparation for the result of the Human Trials (Set to last eight weeks)

Given that OPTI own a huge 40% or so chunk of SKIN, in ADDITION to the fantastic progres of OPTI itself in regards to its own products - the fact that SKIN is again up another SIX AND A HALF %%% today - means that our core asset is also up another SIX ANDF A HALF %%%%

The order is for Europe

The invoice financing is simply a drawdown as and when sales and invoices are issued in the US

The two news have nothing to do with each other.

The talk of the BILLIONS in the RNS is not related to Filtronic - but to infrastructure in general - NOTHING to do with us

The value of the invoice (£2 million approximately), does not change the fact that the figures earlier this year showed sales down by half (Around £12 million) (As against £24 a year earlier) so a £2 million order is not going to reverse the figures for the year.

That said - if the order gets duplicated (2019) then a upward trend may be there - But for now I am watching
