RE: Holding well above 0.414 Aug 2025 21:26
Techie is a holder from the past, when 1 share would cost you 10-18p.
You have to understand some of the history surrounding CPX, the rise and fall of the share price particularly in the years 2018 onwards.
Many LTH's built up substantial holdings during a period of varied product development including "Truck Start", 2.7v then 3.0v Coincell caps, Wearables and many others which led to high development costs for products constantly offering "Jam tomorrow" but failing to deliver.
I personally never had more than 500,000 shares but there were many that far exceeded that into the multi millions.
Gradually the companies fortunes started to fail, sales never reached expectations then the Maxwell case came into play and sucked the company coffers on paying legal expenses. I think Kongats could see the writing was on the wall and his time had come to step down, taking a hefty parting payment with him but after all he had been the founder but the timing was the last straw.
Pat Elliott had his back against the wall, the money had practically all gone but rather than seeking financial assistance he stated the "A" word, Administration, and that was it, almost instantly the stock was worth only 10% and a lot of holders like "Techie" got caught, their savings down the pan.
You can understand their bitterness, some faultered under the loss whilst others hung on hoping for a Phoenix to arise from the ashes. I was one of the lucky ones having exited during Xmas trading in 2020 when it hit 13p+, I had been in from 2018 at 14p down to 1.5p in 2020 and back again and was out.
So have a little bit of understanding of the chaos that AIM can unfold on people and their feelings when it does so and just pray that you aren't caught up in something like that yourself because believe me it can happen so quick you have no chance.
Today I'm a "Charts" man and if that chart tells me to get in or out, I do it. No emotion, no feelings of loyalty or guilt, I just do it but sometimes you are not afforded the luxury of time, Twin Towers being a prime example when I was Day Trading British Airways on a Β£30k roll over, that was expensive.
So "Techie" in modern parlance, I feel for you Bro' but you're the only one that can either accept it or fix it........I wish you all the best.
