SCLP need to give their shareholders an update. It's not unreasonable after six months of silence . Did they apply for CEPI funding or not. As a shareholder it's a very reasonable question to want answered. Covidity funding is materialistic to the share price. SCLP is a "Covid" stock and after a year since they identified a universal target...nothing but afew retweets. In addition I don't think it's unreasonable to have an update on the collaboration NDAs .
The share price will continue to decline on this news blackout.

Scancell themselves were tweeting CEPI articles referencing SCLP....the deadline has passed and nothing from the company. If they didn't apply does it make a stronger case for Government / pharma backing ?
If they did apply to CEPI then surely this information must be passed onto shareholders. I expect Redmile and Vulps know the answer but not long term shareholders.

Very positive comments last night and again this morning....I share the sentiment. SCLP really are at a crossroads. Not only from a research point of view with the potential of 3 trials but also from an investment point of view . This is crunch time for me....I have happily helped to fund SCLP over many years dipping in to buy my entitlement of shares and keeping the lights on. I now want ....and need.. a return on my investment, no more NDAs, collaborations or pushing against open doors. The time has finally arrived , with the backing of Redmile / Vulps to monetize the research and get these products into trial.

Certainly are ! second half of the year is creeping up. The share price is just about holding at the buy in price of Vulps so that is some consultation.
The longer without news the more negativity starts to play on your mind.... but also the chance of a blockbuster RNS landing increases if we go by Chesters figures. Just can't understand if the vaccine has been produced and by assumption the delivery method....then why isn't this being fast tracked into trial ASAP by CEPI / Gov or a pharma. It's not as if the problem has not gone away ! One can only hope discussions are progressing. Do you think SCLP would RNS an application to CEPI for funds assuming they are going down that route ?

On this site a sell but do you make it a buy ?

Re any takeover...We are small fry not even worthy of updates despite funding the research for years...and years...what would Vulps and Redmile accept if say a low bid came from BNTX ?

Or orchestrated prior to a low ball offer...keeping SCLP low then offering say £1.

Well done hasiba, you were proved right trading this one. We are now back in the Diggles price range when they made the 400000 purchase, pleased 20 is holding. Not too pleased we find out snippets of news via the media and not directly from SCLP. See GSK have partnered ....

WTP, it's the cumulative effect of ending lower most days I find depressing. I know it could turn with one RNS but to he honest the SP is not where i was expecting it to be at this stage.

Max, one does wonder what is going on especially as media reports stated "within weeks".
In my mind there are only 3 options related to the Covid side of the company....
1: Sclp have hit an issue and are not ready.
2: Gov/ pharma are not interested.
3: Scalp are in negotiations with Gov / pharma..and we just have to wait for news.

Point 1, surely we wouldn't have made the vaccine if there were any problems with method of delivery or stability etc. Did we not see it being manufactured in the Sky report ?

Point 2, one just can't believe the Gov wouldn't want a solution and the ability to promote the "Northern powerhouse" . Pharma...well just look at the profit of BNTX , why turn down that potential.

Point 3... guess that's why we all remain invested alongside the SCIB/ Moditope platforms etc. In the hope that one day we will see a platform that returns significant value to shareholders.

Perhaps the SP is being "held" in a tight range pre a bid for SCLP.....BioNTech being the perfect fit (for them) .

Facing any cancer treatment must be awful, but if you were a patient offered SCIB ...and researched the "swimmer chart survival rate" ....who would refuse?
I'm delighted to be invested in a company offering such hope and life saving treatment to patients faced with such a decision.

Roses, so you are implying that there is no buying interest in SCLP? As you know it's always been an illiquid stock at times .

Roses, so why is this ? Tried afew dummy sells on HL, like you say...no quote to sell. SCLP had always been illiquid when there's no buying pressure. We need some news ...

Not the bounce I was hoping for. Vulps saw value at this level....so all is ok as far as I can see.
