Chester, don't you think it odd not a mention of the planned SAfrica trial in the rns. Simply a trial of Covidity in 2021. And what mention of the Modi trial...nothing.

Hmm.. ...a very strange development at such a pivotal time for the company. Although within the rns bumph it mentions the Covidity trial no further timeliness or details other than 2021, not even a mention of SA . Also no mention of Modi trial ??

Someone is selling and if its DE there's a fair bit to go. Any positive news will get back to square one.

There's obviously a seller looking at the volume and timing of the sales. If its NXT drip feeding then we all know it will eventually stop. With his connections it's a shame it couldn't have been completed "off market " at a set price.

I am as frustrated as many regarding being kept informed. Let's face it regarding updates and communication....we original investors may have held some relevance to the BOD of SCLP as they tapped us for regular funding to keep the lights on.... but no longer. Now we can only ride the coat tails of Redmile and Vulps. They both control and have the ear of the company. Looking at their respective track record I'm happy to accept my low status and ride along for another 18 months and then it really is stick or twist !

Hi Ruck, this is fron first hand knowledge and also from what is on the grapevine. Currently the only pts in ITUs are non vaccinated (for whatever reason ) and only a very few vaccinated pts. Ratio around 8:2 . VAST majority pre existing medical conditions or obese. An experienced ITU staff member could pick out a "covid itu " member of the public, obese and a large build - applies to the young as well. Strategic planning reckons a hit around early winter with normal flu and RSV adding to the mix but at about 50 % of wave 2 admissions. Sounds good but most ITUs needed to spill out over their footprint so even half isn't great and will have negative effects on normal flow. SO MANY experienced staff have left due to covid "issues" I would say most ITUs are in a recruitment crisis with skill mix simply awful.

Just need SOME news to get this going and to prevent SCLP slipping out of the tight trading range. Have folks given up on CEPI funding? it's been a while now but we don't even know if we applied . Guess South African news will be next ..? Positive "news"of late has been the job adverts and Vulps/Redmile continuing to hold their positions. Guess we have to do the same.

That collaboration RNS ..Jan 2018....are they still interested? Let's hope so but the waiting is endless.

Reading the as give press release on the 9 th of June from CEPI, it reads that the advisory committee that will decide funding has only just been finalised. Am I reading this correctly?
If so we won't have news immediately ?

Hi guys....so ...reading today's RNS, issued from the company itself, it indicates Modi starting H1. Let's say one invests upon the principal the RNS and associated wording attached to the RNS is a truthful reflection of the situation..... Then if the target for H1 is unrealistic ( known at the time of release) ....do those named on the RNS , Chirpin, Cliff H , Pamure G etc etc bear a collective liability for miss representation as the investment was made on the basis of the "factual" RNS ?
Surely these RNS's are "fact checked" ????

Ruck, agree. The company offering the bid has to answer to their shareholders for the amount offered and the price has to be accepted by Redmile /Vulps and Calculus.
With the funds now available to BioNtech they could easily buy SCLP.
