There is no reference to the role of a Remuneration Committee in Companies Act 2006, s.172.

However there is a requirement in clause "d" for directors to consider the impact of the company's operations on the community and the environment, and in some folks' minds the Italian Gov view on nearshore oil exploitation might fit that clause, so rendering the directors non-compliant?

HMRC stopped taxing dividends at source in 2016. There is an annual dividend allowance free of income tax, and the cash element will likely be taxed as capital gain, so perhaps it's a small sweetener to retail investors?

Surely these contracts will be awarded subject to project sanction, with perhaps sweeteners to deliver vendor package designs which allow the overall detailed design to move forward.

For investors, it is the project sanction date that matters since there is little chance of backtracking after that. If that date is well into 2H19, then we cannot expect significant price movement before then?

Did you also discuss the sanction date, which the company narrative has suggested trails FID by as much as six months? If project sanction is going to be a year from now, that would influence the decisions of many investors, I expect.
