As Reported Saturday 19th January 2020, the Morning Star GKP Share Holder reporting Website page had gone bereft of all information.

Call me distrustful but when anything happens around GKP, I get suspicious that something is purposely being hidden.
And five days after the Morning Star GKP page went blank . . . it is still Blank

Exercise of options and sale of shares

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited ("GKP" or the "Company") announces that on 10th January 2020 Nadzeya Kernoha, Head of Finance, exercised 90,000 nil-cost share options, granted to her in 2016 under the Company's Staff Retention Plan ("SRP"). Following the exercise, on 13th January 2020 Ms Kernoha sold the 90,000 shares at a price of 202.61p.

Mmm - I think it was very clear to me ( and no doubt many others ) that you were indeed implying that GKP were / are 'distressed sellers' !

Shaikan Payment Update 

Further to the announcement on 12 December 2019, Gulf Keystone confirms that a gross payment of $21.7 million ($17.0 million net to GKP) has been received from the Kurdistan Regional Government for Shaikan crude oil sales during August 2019.

Gulf Keystone's operations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, both in Erbil and at the Shaikan Field, continue safely and have not been affected, despite the recent events in Iraq.

Okay - noted.

And likewise I have held shares in GKP since around the same time - seems like eons ago ! :(

The point in question here is not where he merely resides - it's from where ( and from whom ) he gets his instructions/directions regarding the running of GKP etc !

I would think that if the 'new guy' from China ever does end up receiving and instigating orders relating to GKP - from China ! - then it is only because a Chinese 'entity' would then be the new owners of GKP !

Why else, and in what circumstances, would he accept directions from China ??

Until this is determined one way or another, then surely he will accept his orders and directions only from the current GKP B.O.D. !

'If' that situation ever changes - to his orders coming from China and not the B.O.D. - then that must surely signal that 'FINALLY' our long wait is over and GKP has been sold.

Until then - I won't hold my breath.................
