Can only speculate. Maybe they want to speed up things. Covid etc has slowed things down so by taking control they can put more resources in and have a more hands on approach with faster results. Either way i think it is a good thing as the pace will now speed up imo. By taking charge i also think there may be more of a chance of an earlier buy out of OMI's share. Makes sense to me. Has to be a good thing for the sp once they do take control imo

Just topped up. The sp is a joke at the moment and so undervalued so took the opportunity to add more. Looking for positive news next following yesterday's RNS. A bit of positive news and this will move up in a big way. Got to be in it to win....

Which ever way we look at the present situation, things are progressing in the right direction and i would guess things will speed up once Newmont/Agnico are in the driving seat. Once this happens, OMI will up the pace of diversifying into other projects. All of this with a very undervalued sp. Patience is definitely needed in big doses with aim but eventually we will be rewarded in a very big way. Buy low sell high has always been the mantra

Agree, limited news released today and so the market reacts accordingly and drops the sp, however much more news is due. The sp is due a major re trace back up imo and much better news will be coming in due course. Just a waiting game for those that can stand the initial pain. Buying at the bottom is always the best policy imo

Well not the ideal reaction to the RNS. Took the opportunity to top up a few more. Will let the dust settle and top up more later today/tomorrow. As usual the derampers are about likely looking for a cheap entry. Either way Newmont/Agnico are taking over and things will be moving forward at pace. This has become an even better opportunity imo with sentiment so low. This will change soon enough and i want to grab as many shares as i can as things are going to change to the upside in a big way imo

In short, despite all the delays etc etc, the project is solid with Newmont and Agnico on board....As drilling news etc does eventually get released, i expect the sp to re rate accordingly. The sp is way undervalued now but will be worth multiples of the present price going forward over the coming weeks and months imo. Buying/topping up at these levels is a no brainer imo. Have to look at the bigger picture.

I'm not going to dabate about oither companies but to me the level of newsflow for what ever reason has been lacking here. If Brad says 'may', that is just a cop out and just means there is little credibility in what he is saying imo. That said, we will get news sooner than later but the timescales given have been very ambiguous which does little to instill confidence imo. Thankfully we have Newmont/Agnico on board and they are clealy here for big rewards. They clearly know what they are doing

Have to agreed, Brad has not been good as regards newsflow and timescales. He talks the talk but delivering on timescales is very poor sadly. However as the days go by, news does get ever closer and at some point we will get some big news which ever way we look at it.

The long calm before the storm....with such a protracted wait, the move back up will be explosive imo...things have taken much longer that i anticipated but we are so close now to massive news. Volume is very low and no doubt those that wanted to sell are more or less out. The upside is huge imo and hopefully i will get a final top up before things start going crazy here.

The so called news rich period has been quite the opposite but that means we do have a lot of news queuing up over the coming days and weeks. As ever a waiting game with OMI but when the news does start to drop, i am expecting the sp to react in a big positive way. Hoping to buy more at these levels in the next few days. Not expecting any news this week so hopefully i should be able to top up around this level.

News delays are the way it is with OMI sadly and so the MMs will take advantage and grind the sp down day after day. People will get fed up and sell out and so the sp will have continued downwards pressure. The fundamentals have not changed, if anything they have got better but delays adversely affect the OMI sp. This has been going on for a long time as we all know but things are progressing imo at a snails pace but at some point big news will be released and the sp will rocket upwards. 2 big players on board, follow the big money is the best policy imo. Whilst the sp is at these low levels, it is a good opportunity to top up for those that wish to, me included

Agree bhargav, about news dalays. It does seem that news is very slow in being released, however we know several things are happening and will eventually come to fruition. I too am looking to top up but not for a few days when i should have some funds available, hopefully, so if the sp stays around these levels for now, that is fine with me. If we do get some big news before then, then i will be happy either way. Which ever way we look at it, the sp is due a moster bounce up very soon.

Like many i also agree that the news flow has been very poor and no real positives from OMI for a very long time. The sp has suffered in a big way imo and has just stagnated for a long time. That said many positives are happening in the background and at some point big news will be released. As has been said 2 big players are on board...and that says it all. Purely for selfish reasons i hope no news comes this week as i want to top up, when funds are available, whilst the sp is still at these levels. Either way when solid news does drop, the sp will rise in a big way imo.

News is way over due imo, Brad's last recent interview suggested news was imminent so expecting news to drop anytime. The sp has been dead for way too long and i am expecting a strong and fast move back up with good news.

Seems a more positive start to the week. Big news getting ever closer so would expect more interest in OMI. Been a long time since we had any positive action here, however with the multiple news elements due the sp must be due a big re rate now imo

Thanks for the info bhargav. It is reassuring to see Brad's reply to you to explain the status quo. With this info and the interview today, i and many others i would guess will be much happier that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I do feel the sp will start to move back up now with some comms finally from Brad and i have bought more shares recently and today whilst the sp is at this very low price. I now have a decent holding and looking forward to the sp starting a move back up to where it belongs

Just for clarity my buy is shown at 0.1499 for 29K shares even though the printed mid price is 0.15...Just shows how the buy/sells can give a false reading

Nice find bhargav. Listened to the interview with Brad...Omi looking for other projects as Newmont/Agnico take over the reigns at Anza. Brad explained about the recent delays etc which are understandable but now it does seem things will be moving ahead on several fronts. It has given me more confidence that things are happening in the background which is good for the sp. I have done another top up today as i feel today's interview is positive for the sp going forward. Will the sp start rising finally?

Standard update and all still on track. Just the usual waiting game for now...Still would hope the sp will start a gradual move back up as we await drilling/other project news to drop. The present sp is way undervalued with what we know imo.
