In short a buyout of the Chuditch asset would be good for shareholders and the bod....after all the bod have said they are happy to sell for the right price....just wish they would hurry up and get on with it.
Boil are happy to sell Chuditch for the right price so no need for them to drill if the right offer comes their way. The extension allows them the time to sort out a deal. The sp is at a rock bottom price and has way more upside than downside imo.
More positives than negatives yet the sp just falls....really can't figure out why the sp has been pushed down so far. Makes no sense to me. However the market has a way of forcing people to bail out thinking all is lost then boom things turn around for the better. The market is very good at crushing sentiment and then switching around when all seems lost. There will be a turning point at some point to the upside as things are falling into place imo. This will mutibag in a big way imo, but holding and waiting is not easy.
Boil is way oversold and with today's RNS, which is positive imo,....i do think the odds are now way more to the upside. The sp has had a big protracted drop with any good news being elusive over the last few months. I think positive news is very close now and no doubt people will be seeing a big opportunity to get in at such a bargain price. Still does feel like the sp is being held back but i do think the anchors are starting to come off the sp now.
Never expected the sp to get to this price. It has been on a downtrend for so long now. Are people now selling at a loss and giving up on Boil?....For me i would be buying at these levels if i had available funds as the downside must now be minimial imo but the upside could be way way higher with just a touch of good news. I do think we will get some positive news sooner rather than later and will just keep hold of what i have and buy some more if the opportunity arises.
Shell could easily buyout the Chuditch project at many multiples of where we are now and it still won't cost that much for Shell. The more i think about it, the more it makes big sense from Shell's point of view. A Shell deal could easily push the sp for Boil to 1p+ imo. Just a hint of a deal and the sp will rocket.
Does makes sense for Shell to have an interest in Chuditch by the looks of it.....Shell awash with cash and Chuditch fits their gas focused strategy and they already understand the Chuditch project....jigsaw pieces fitting together maybe???
That's the key point imo, the reserves have been verified, so it really is a matter of getting a deal to retrieve the resource. The BOD are open to an outright sale or JV. Despite the weakness of the BOD, the resource, thankfully, speaks for itself.
Despite a lack of recent action by the BOD, Chuditch speaks for itself so just a matter of time imo for big things to happen here and i guess for those that can top up now, i reckon this is a great opportunity at such a low level. At some point things will fall in to place and a big re rate will happen imo
News from the BOD has been very poor of late and i guess people are deciding to sell it would seem. That said Chuditch is a soild asset which is just waiting for the right deal. This deal will happen imo but the wait is tortuous and the sp is suffering in a big way. But the sp is at a very low level now and will move back up at some point in a big way. The usual protracted waiting game it seems with Boil for now
Agree CDF1, some are probably selling out hoping to buy back in later closer to news but the present sp is at the bottom now more or less so trying to sell and buy lower with the spread and costs may not work out for some. Also there is always the risk of an enexpected positive RNS dropping such as news about Dunrobin...Either way i am holding and if funds allow i will top up. This present price is just too low and is due a bounce just based on technicals imo
Another drop in the sp...getting stupidily low now. The constant drop, i reckon is just bigger holders selling due to lack of news imo unless anyone else has a different credible reason for the protracted drop.....Either way i do think big news is due over the coming weeks and i do expect a massive move up in the sp. Even now with no news the sp is way undervalued and must be due a pop back up just for this reason.
Seems like we have been stuck in this low range for so long now and the market will just not allow the sp to move up...the MMs allow the sp to move within a range with a wide spread which suits them...however i've seen a few shares eg JOG and UKOG which have moved upwards in a big way with positive news. Our turn will come and i do expect a sharp move upwards once we get the expected news. Just been a long frustrating grind for now but soon our time will come....in a big way
Very true iLOVElithium, the directors want to sell for the right price so they can benefit big time, which is good for us lowly shareholders. I would surmise the BOD want their rewards sooner rather than later so a deal is close imo.
The sp has been in a downtrend for a while now as we await big news...interesting to see how JOG's sp reacted to their recent deal news...this will happen to BOIL imo once news drops, which is not a matter if if but when...The sp is not far off the last placing so it is very cheap imo. Just a waiting game as ever but soon enough big news will land here.
The sp has fallen around 50% since its recent peak about 4 weeks ago and this is despite generally positive news coming from Boil. Despite the positive narrative here market forces have pushed the price down consistently and it is way undervalued now imo. Market forces again will start to push the price back up again and day traders will flock back in imo. Solid news will push the price back up very quickly but in the absense of this, market forces will manipulate the sp both upwards and downwards. I feel now the upwards trend will emerge any day now...A short term push back upto 0.2 approx is the next target imo, assuming no blockbuster RNS for now.
Boil have stated that they are happy to sell for the right price. They have assets that are in demand...so soon enough a buyout of some description or a JV will happen...There are several big players with strong balance sheets in the wings waiting to swoop imo. Volume is low and the MMs are able to hold the sp down easily at this time but at some point their tactic will change and the sp will move back up imo.
