Not posted on here for a while as i sold out a while ago. I started buying back in near the lows and have been topping up since then including today. The sp has been battered down to a level i never expected but at these low levels i do see good value. I expect the BOD will start pulling their respective fingers out now as they will need to raise funds maybe in a few months imo, so it makes sense they start coming out with positive news to get the sp back up. I do think they are more focused on getting Anza back so makes sense to buy in at these levels imo. The sp can move quickly once the positives roll in.
Does seem that any positive RNS gets a luke warm reception from the market in general. That said the RNS is yet another positive step forward for Boil and in the right direction. The sp will rerate in due course imo and i expect a JV is on the cards if not an outright buyout for the Chudditch project. This is when the sp will really rocket upwards imo. Just a waiting game as ever but we will get there eventually. You have to be in it to win as the saying goes or words to that effect.
AB is a massive asset to Boil. He knows his stuff and is well respected. Things are clearly moving in the right direction, and the sp will move up in a big way going forward. Those selling now will miss out on a massive return imo. Each to their own
Seems there was a short term pump and dump by some in the know about an RNS due, maybe, but not necessairily the content. For me the RNS proves things are moving in the right direction and with AB more in the spotlight all the right things are falling into place, I suspect the sp will start the move back up quickly as we await further news. Aim is very fickle hence the drop in the sp but i see this as a positive RNS.
Good overview of where we are HullFC4ever. All is slotting into place and i expect a massive move up in the sp when we finally get some actual action. The clock is ticking down and positive news could literally drop anytime now. Amazing that the sp is still stuck at these very low levels, however seen it many times where the price can just explode out of nowhere with the right catalyst. I look forward to an explosive sp before the end of this year.
Hard to believe the sp is languishing at this very low level with so many positive things happening in the background. One solid piece of news for Chudditch and i expect the sp to rocket upwards. Like watching paint dry but once the positives hit, everyone will be scrambling to buy in and a big re rate will happen imo. Just holding and waiting for the inevitable big move up.
With all the positives happening in the background, the sp is completely disconnected from these events. I cannot fathom out why the sp just keeps falling but this will turn back up in a big way imo at any time. Once the market sees some positive tangible news, the sp will re rate massively...just a matter of when not if....
Things do seem to be moving very slowly on the face of it and the sp is just seemingly stuck in a rut at this low level, however at some point over the coming weeks/months i do expect big news around Chuditch and the sp will start a big move up imo. Any positve news will lead to an instant spike up and those on the sidelines will miss out so i guess best policy is to just hold and wait, whilst the sp is languishing at this very low level.
All is looking positive for Boil imo as we inch closer to big news. I do think big things are happening in the background and with the political situation settled we could get some very positive news anytime. It really is just a waiting game now and i do think people are loading up in preparation for a big move up in the sp. A positive RNS will see the sp rocket up imo so i'm just holding and waiting.
The reality is we still need fossil fuel energy mixed in with renewables and the UK has a resource on it's doorstep, that being from the North Sea. The UK cannot disregard this as it needs to have energy security from the home market and not rely on overseas energy. Hopefully a Labour government, if it ever does come into power will change it's stance and be more focused on home resources. Makes absolute strategic and logical sense imo.
I think the positive sentiment today is due to the positive stance from the UK government on drilling in the North Sea which is a big positive for Dunrobin. The rise in the sp is just for starters as people start to return and or top up. We are still waiting for the biggie, news on Chuditch. All falling into place now and this is just the start of the re rate from such a low level. The sp can race up very quickly as sentiment grows stronger.
A big boost for the Dunrobin prospect and we have the main event Chuditch getting ever closer. Not surprising to see the sp start to wake up finally. Just the start of the move back up and from a crazy low level.
It can get very difficult to stay the distance when waiting for a big turnaround. The sp has been on a downtrend for a long time but the wheels are turning, slowly but they are moving in the right direction. Many would have sold due to boredom or just fed up hence the very low sp. However big news is in the pipeline and it really is just a matter of time before the wheels start speeding up. For me it is a matter of just holding and waiting as i strongly believe a JV is due to happen and that is when the real action starts to kick in. News can drop anytime and will catch many out imo
In short, the pluses outway the minuses in a big way and those minuses will soon disappear. I do believe there is a high probability of a JV happening over the coming weeks/months and once news lands the sp will go ballistic. The present sp has little downside but way more upside so selling now is way too risky imo. Better just to hold and top up where possible. This will be worth many multiples of where we are now and not that much longer to wait imo
That was a big sell. I think it must be down to boredom but the present sp is so low now bearing in mind the assets here. Big news can come any time and trying to sell now to buy in lower is a big risk imo. each to their own. Well at least that big sell is now done and dusted and out of the way.
Assuming we don't get a straight buyout of Chuditch, it does seem logical that Boil will go down the JV route. If so then they may likely need to raise funds, At what price? could even be higher then the present sp. Either way, any placing, if it is used as part of a JV operation, will catapult the sp much higher imo. Also news of a JV will also boost the sp. So all in all, the future is looking good for Boil imo and with the sp at such a low level, i can only see a big upside from this level.
Assuming Boil get to the point of spudding, it should take around 30 days for the results of that drill from what Boil were saying. I think it is just a matter of a few months to spud and no doubt by then the sp will be way higher imo. There could still be a buyout of Chudditch before a drill from Boil so either way i feel it is a matter of a few months for a big pay day for shareholders. I am more of the opinion that the BOD are are prepared to drill and then sell up Chuditch assuming no buyout beforehand.
Agree stevemocal, Boil is an explorer not a producer and more than likely, imo, the Chuditch asset will be sold off way before full monetisation of the asset. Big players will have longer timescales and for them 5 years is nothing. For Boil, even if they go into the drilling stage, i expect a buyout soon after. The asset is clearly commercial from all the info we know, so soon enough shareholders will benefit in a big way. We just have to hold for a relatively short time for a massive pay day. Remember, the BOD are happy to sell Chuditch for the right price. It would be a nice retirement package for them as well.......
We always expect fireworks at such meetings, but no sensitive info can ever be given in such meetings. So no surprise there was no ground breking news as such. A generally competent meeting imo. Such sensitive info will always be RNS'd as is standard. To me, Boil will continue on the path of drilling Chuditch but if an offer does come in to buy out the resource then of course the ball game changes. Either way it makes good business sense to focus on drilling in the mean time.
