Yeah I think this article and yesterday's one from Vale, whilst not directly referencing Zanaga so confirm this high grade resource will not stay in the ground.

Always a bit sceptical when people speculate the price may be being manipulated to allow stakeholders on board before a deal is announced but more open to that theory now than I have been in recent weeks.

Vale news was interesting yesterday. Steel hubs progress accelerating, Zanaga's iron ore is ideal for those. Even if we see a change of government I think as long as it is BRICS countries taking Zanaga on, it should all be well received.

Among the agreements signed, three aim to set up Mega Hubs in Middle Eastern countries (Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Oman) to produce "hot-briquetted iron" (HBI), in order to supply the local and transoceanic markets, with a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. It is expected that Vale will build and operate iron ore concentration and briquetting plants at the hubs, supplying the raw material for the HBI plants, which will be built and operated by investors and/or clients.

It probably is time for Nguesso to hand over, I suspect he wants his son to take over but that won't go down well one would think. Nguesso may go himself rather than be pushed even. I don't want to see a coup because it creates uncertainty. That said, with RoC owing Glencore huge sums and still needing foreign investment to develop, I don't think it would be the end of ZIOC. Particularly if the Chinese, Gulf countries and maybe Brazil are interested in Zanaga as one party working together.

I do feel it is now or never time for Zioc now though. They need to do a deal yesterday. Elphick should be full-time right now. He stands to lose the most. You staying in MM? I asked ET the same.

It came from an exchange with AT. I was trying to understand why they had not done a deal and asked if anyone had actually been interested apart from COIDIC. It was said options had been presented to Glencore in the past that in hindsight perhaps they might have taken.

My view would be to offer those 'options' a chance to take ZIOC on now. All the coup news creates uncertainty but doesn't mean the end of everything if worst case Nguesso gets overthrown. A viable deal or partner would certainly look alot better to a new government than the current no news stalemate.

It's disgraceful that AT and Elphick aren't saying anything to us at all. What do you think? Are you staying in?

It will be interesting to see what happens with Fortescue in Gabon. At the end of the day Gabon still need foreign investment. It is more what the Government does with the proceeds which is the issue for the general population.

RoC owe Glencore a huge amount of money which works in our favour. Next General Election in RoC is 2026. Let's hope we are sold this year. I would take 30 to 50p and be done with it.

Fortescue have the Belinga iron ore mine in Gabon. Zanaga could be an option now if they favour RoC instead. Elections not due until 2026 and Nguesso already prioritising a future in BRICS which is what his people want.

The company really should come out and say something AND cancel this ridiculous sham Shard funding. What's the point now at this share price? Trahar and Elphick either need to be fulltime at ZIOC or chucked out.

MM are you still thinking Vale could be a possibility for Zanaga or leaving towards China news in Q4 when phase 1 of the study is completed?

No slurry pipeline

Poor communication from ZIOC management

8.06am Shard unloading 250k. Zioc management to blame.

Has the volume actually been that high though? I think funding deal has given the market makers an excuse to trash the share price. I don't think the volumes warrant the drop but I am furious with Trahar for staying quiet and allowing it to happen. The guy ignores all messages. Meanwhile a near 500% rise needed to get back to 18p.

Time for the company to communicate. I bet they won't do the AGM somewhere where people can go in person and ask why they are do such a s hite job.

24m market cap now. A 2 year old could do better than Elphick and Trahar.

Bit stupid to say the 5th biggest iron mine in the world will never be developed. Especially with port news and Brazzaville taking a bigger presence on centre stage. China commented on Brazzaville yesterday to that effect.
