I don't think anything fishy, just not as simple as holding an auction. That can't happen until the DRI, pipeline, pellet plant, tailings study etc are all done.

The house was the John Hurt one. They have struggled to sell it.

Will do Nibj. The message I got yesterday was they have momentum and are working on trying to get a deal to benefit all shareholders. Nothing is guaranteed but they feel they only bought out Glencore in March and have made strong progress. The impression I get is it is not easy to get a strategic investor or takeover over the line. Those entities want each risk/obstacle removed hence why DRI news was big and we should hope for pipeline and pellet plant news too as that will mean we are getting closer.

Hoping to get a call with AT later this week. Any questions, I will try to ask them. It can only be on things already in the public domain though. It is about getting more understanding of where we are.

I did get a short reply. I think ZIOC feel the DRI news was a key milestone but can't control what the market does in response. Nothing has changed in respect to working on clearing the obstacles to a strategic investor / takeover.

An embarrassing day for the management team. What about the Q3 auction? Or the pellant plant and pipeline news due in Q2. They should have known not progressing those points would cause a drop although 16% on low volume does seem overdone.

The Twitter poster must have written today's RNS. Any mention of Q3 auction and this would be up not down today. Knauth should be replaced. The 6 trillion iron ore find in Australia isn't going to help us either.

It's a very tight ship at the moment. The share price should be higher but when you go on YouTube and see a fresh faced AT doing interviews about how good a prospect ZIOC is 14 years ago, you can see why the market doesn't believe.

Following ZIOC is like following the England football team...Spurs finally did it so could Zioc get over the line and deliver.

Chin up. 20p is ridiculous. A holiday home 2 down from our one has just sold...would have been ideal to rent out for income whilst we lived in our one. Annoying as it has been on the market for a few months but I would only have paid for it in cash so was hoping ZIOC would have been the answer. They didn't put £21m in to get 20p per share. I have emailed AT to say we are due an update on what they have been working on since March. In my mind they have to sell this to a BRICS backed company this year. We don't want to be here when Nguesso is up for election in 2026.

Yes, beacuse they put their own money in and will want it back with a return on top. I still think a buyer told them to prove up the increase in NPV before making their offer formal.

It's a ludicrous world. I have given up on news this week and now just await Beardozer's Friday message of positivity to keep me going!

The studies outlined in the Investor Presentation must be underway. I hope they are being done to give interested parties the answers they need to make formal offers. My feeling is informal offers are on the table but they want more detail to sign on the dotted line.

I don't disagree but as a former shareholder here the problems are Cliff and his placings, BELL and Lucyd plummeting, especially BELL. They have never paid the dividends they said they would either. You might get 25% on a T20 trade here imo but I wouldn't hold long term as they always smack it back down with a placing.

I am not really sure where Mr Knauth is domiciled but certainly in the UK he would have to pay income tax on the options now on the difference between the strike price and market price. Therefore it does seem positive he is doing it now. The only way is up as the 80s song went...

It always happens for other people :( We are definitely overdue news here. I half expected the red dot today.

Been to our holiday home in the sun for 10 days. I looked at the sp a few times but it was nice to have a rest. Personally not fussed about all these studies. NPV and IRR are already high enough. Auction it and be done with it. I think there will be delayed buys posted in the morning. This is really on a knife edge imo. Too big and valuable not to be developed but a management team who seem incapable of enticing an offer.
